Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Union

We had a great stay. Our kids especially loved the hot tub and fire pit and the cozy bed upstairs. Beds were all very comfortable and clean. Host was responsive and left clear instructions. We would have loved to stay longer but it was still great just for one night.

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

Spirit Rock is easily in the top 3 coolest Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. The cabin is only a few minutes away from Acadia, and the property is gorgeous (drinking my morning coffee every day on the wraparound porch overlooking the beautiful back lawn was one of the highlights of my trip.) The house itself was sparkling clean, which in my experience is rare for a cabin. It felt like home from the moment we walked through the front doors.

Had a great time staying here! There was so much space, everything was very comfy, loved the pool + ping pong + hot tub. The road getting up to the place is unpaved so we were concerned our 2WD car couldn’t make it up, but by the time we got back from skiing, the road had been plowed and sanded. The two minor downsides during my stay were the water (shower + sinks) occasionally smelled strongly of sulfur (?) but it wasn’t a big deal because the fridge had a filtered water dispenser. Also there is a requirement to not wear shoes in the house but the floors were dirty. No visible dirt but the floors definitely were not mopped. Very responsive host so I imagine if I complained about it something would have been done but it wasn’t actually a real issue.

My cousin and I spent a week at holly's house. We made our day trips from there. All the sights were easily and quickly accessible by car from there. Whether in the north, south, east or west of Maine. We enjoyed spending our evenings in a fully equipped house. From check-in to check-out, everything was uncomplicated. We really enjoyed our time there.

My stay was in between two large snow storms, and Arthur had the driveway plowed for us, and checked in on us during the stay.

Such an awesome spot! We can’t wait to come back.

This home was perfect for my family during a difficult time of grief. All of my adult children and I had our own sleeping spaces. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen, dining, and living areas, and especially the ping pong table. We would definitely recommend this home to large families.

I can’t wait return. It’s a beautifully designed place with a million dollar view.

Great cozy place for a weekend getaway. Very walkable to downtown and Old Port areas. Everything was clean and comfortable as described in the listing, and we loved sitting by the gas fireplace! Dan was a great host and very proactive in communications and responsive if we needed anything.

This is a great place to stay, even better than it appears in the photos. It was not just clean, it was immaculate - and for an extremely observant nurse - that was awesome. The unit had easy access with a slight gradient path and only two steps - which was very helpful for us as seniors. The firm bed was very comfortable. Barbara was responsive and thought of everything, including having delicious specialty coffee for us - Thanks. She even had a cooler in the closet for us to use when we went to Acadia National Park. Like I said, she truly thought of everything. If we return to this area of Maine, we would love to stay again. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy studio apartment in Camden. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the town center, the harbor, and a variety of restaurants and shops. The beautiful library and other local amenities are close by, making it easy to explore everything Camden has to offer. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with convenient parking available on a side street away from any busy traffic. Inside, the apartment is charming and comfortable. The gas stove adds a warm, inviting touch, and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious for a studio and well-equipped. Overall, this apartment was the perfect spot for a relaxing and convenient stay. Highly recommend!

Nancy greeted us warmly upon arrival, making us feel instantly welcome. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood with ample parking and offers thoughtful touches like muffins, coffee, tea, and bottled water. Prices are extremely reasonable. The space was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-stocked with extra blankets, pillows, and bath linens. We will definitely stay at Nancy’s again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Pittsfield area.

Wonderful stay delightful Victorian home with great water views on the porch. We had a great breakfast with, farm garden fresh produce, homemade breads. Perfect location for visiting Camden and hiking the State Park. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing girls weekend getaway at Caroline’s place. Caroline is the most kind and sweet host. Absolutely loved our peaceful weekend. The property is beautiful and has beautiful views of the ocean. We also loved the breakfast!

We loved our stay at The Victorian By The Sea!! The inn and grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing and calming, breakfasts are scrumptious, the location is convenient to hiking in Camden Hills State Park and sightseeing and shopping in the lovely town of Camden, and the host, Caroline, is absolutely delightful, accommodating in making her guests comfortable, resourceful with touring tips, and an amazing cook and baker!
