Chausey was a great host and was very responsive when I reached out. The place was well kept, very cozy, and matched the list of amenities listed on the AirBNB listing. It truly felt like a home away from home. I really enjoyed the location and how it was tucked away but within driving distance of downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Amazing spot — easy drive to Acadia and other local spots. Close to Bucksport and other small towns for essentials. I wholeheartedly recommend.

We could not have picked a better AirBNB to stay at for our honeymoon. The listing and pictures are spot on to what we experienced. The house was clean and very relaxing, and all instructions were very thorough/things were labeled, making it easy to feel at home with no guess work. It was stocked with all the necessities we could have needed. The home is gorgeous, and while it was just two of us I could easily see a bigger crowd being very comfortable. We made sure to make use of the hot tub almost every day and even gave the kayaks a go. Can’t speak for all year round but we went right before the busy season in Maine and the lake was so peaceful and quiet you could hear a pin drop. Jesse and Mya were wonderful hosts; helpful and response both before and during our trip. We’re already talking about coming back for a future anniversary with our kids one day. This is one of the best places we’ve booked. Very clean and she even had snacks/water bottles which was great when we arrived. All of the amenities of being home. We will come back again.

This location has a lot of beauty around it. Recommend arriving during the daylight as it is very dark and so you might need a flashlight to find the keys to get in if you come after dark. Might recommend motion sensor lights to help with this but not a huge deal breaker. They describe the door entrances very well but location this place using their instructions could seem a little vague based on how other entrances looked. But my GPS took us straight there with no issues so the description was not a huge deal. We chose to stay downstairs as it had the gas stove and main shower but the beds need a little attention to their frames as they were a little squeaky when laying down or moving any slight movement. The view was amazing and we got some great pictures of the northern lights. We were not there except to mainly sleep as our trip was for business but would have enjoyed this home if we stayed in the area again. If you need several beds, check this place out.

This was a beautiful apartment to stay in, the view to the Union river, and evergreen trees was absolutely gorgeous. The apartment was clean and well designed and had lots of space. A short walk to Josie‘s country store & Café every morning for breakfast was perfect. A quick drive into downtown Ellsworth, where there are lots of restaurants, shops and pubs, then a bit further to Acadia national park, roughly a half hour drive, in April. We loved hiking in Acadia on Bar Harbor Island. What a great visit to Maine!

Such an absolutely magical place to stay! My pup and I stayed for a month while I worked and played. Gorgeous views of the Beech Hill Pond and close enough to various towns for hiking, sightseeing and enjoying local food. Spent time on Deer Isle, MDI at Bar Harbour & Acadia, and even made the trek to Lubec. if you want to experience a wee bit of winter and early spring, mid to late March into April was the perfect time. We had a few inches of snow fall within the first few days of the trip. Don't hesitate to book this cottage!

Thank you for your hospitality! Great space for a group of us to share the night before a marathon. Plenty of rooms, a spacious kitchen for making food, and multiple bathrooms for getting ready!
