We had an amazing stay! The home was absolutely beautiful — even better than the photos. The location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Our host went above and beyond with so many thoughtful personal touches that truly made us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Our stay at Gabrielle’s cottage was awesome! My boyfriend and I had spent two days there for the Labour Day weekend, and what a great choice that was. There were kayaks and a fire pit available, as well as private beach access, only a few short minutes from the cottage. The location was peaceful, well-kept, and beautifully decorated. Although next to the owners, they had it set up in a way to still offer privacy. We had briefly met Gabrielle on our first day - she was so kind, and we knew she was there if we needed. Highly recommend! Although in a very low key location, only a short drive to Saint Andrew’s. Totally perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mark and Beatrice’s farmhouse. The yard is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and really quiet. We enjoyed seeing wild turkey and deer walk through the yard. The bathrooms were renovated and the shower worked well. It was nice to have the washer and dryer available. Mark was kind and responsive. We enjoyed Saturday breakfast from Tunk Joy, and the seafood chowder from Chipman’s nearby. We had a great time and comfortable stay here.

Amazing place to stay. We visited for a family wedding. The house was tucked away from busy areas. It was perfect!

We experienced Nicole’s summer home this year for our annual friends group vacation and we will absolutely be back. The home is expansive and has plenty of room to socialize as well as have time to one’s self. The heated pool is a delight and the grounds are well taken care of. There are wonderful views from almost every window in the home and a great east coast vacation town with plenty of things to do is only a few minutes away by car. This small-but-spacious house is set in a quiet, woodsy setting. We appreciated how close it was to the sand beach (5 minute drive or 35 minute walk), various villages (10 to 15 minute drives to Prospect Harbor, Birch Harbor, and Winter Harbor), and Schoodic Point (30 minutes). The kitchen had all the essentials for meal prep. Every room has ample windows to let in natural light. The place was clean and well prepped for our arrival. Anne was easy to communicate with. There was plenty of room for my wife and I as well as our 12 year old daughter and her friend. I would recommend this rustic and delightful spot to anyone, and will definitely keep it in mind for our future trips.

My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights, what a beautiful scene to wake up to each morning. The Machias River attracts so much wildlife ( Bald Eagles, Osprey, seals, deer and lots of geese that made the Inn a landing strip) and we got to see that every day. Area restaurants are very good as well. We look forward to going back again next year.

Beautiful location, absolutely stunning and peaceful. The host has instructions clearly laid out with multiple great recommendations. We didn’t bring our dogs but they are very well prepared for your furry companion with a nice fenced in yard, lots of outside toys and even a bed for them to rest in when the fun is over.

Oh my God, what an awesome amenity-filled apartment! While we were only in Saint Andrews for one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found Roseann and John to be attentive, excellent hosts. They thought of everything. We will be back!!!

Beautiful spot and wonderful hosts! I can’t recommend this spot enough as the location, though not right downtown, is only a couple blocks away and is very walkable to the local restaurants and shops. The carriage house itself is beautifully renovated and has everything you need, including a nice outside area if the weather is nice. Jackie was very responsive and got back to me when I had questions within minutes. Why anyone would stay in a hotel when this gem is an option baffles me. Highly recommend!

A beautiful, peaceful stay in Lubec! We hope to come back someday and rent the large main cabin as well. It is a great location to relax by the beach and explore Campobello Island. The pictures were accurate but just an FYI for anyone who has a someone who snores or has kids in the family- the two bedrooms are only separated by an open doorway and a curtain - you can hear everything from the other room. 😆

Was a beautiful place, very welcoming. Lots of thought and kindness went into setting up this space. We wished we could have stayed longer and definitely will come back 10 of 10 we recommend!!!

Our stay was amazing! It was relaxing, peaceful and everything we hoped for. My husband enjoyed the hot tub and my dog loved running around the yard. We went to Gleason’s Cove for a sunrise one morning. We highly recommend!

If you are looking for a peaceful lake front getaway at a beautiful, cozy cabin, tucked deep in the Maine woods, this is where you want to go. Pet friendly, with other dogs on sight that visit daily (..for a dog lover, it's an extra amenity!) The screen porch is the best room in the house. Newly built. Full bathroom w/ hot shower. Big kitchen, ready to make a feast in. Comfy beds. Catch fish off the dock all day, or rent a boat on sight and troll the lake. There was stuff to do in the area, but once we got there, we didnt want to leave, and only did when we had to go get more worms. There is a little general store a 15 minutes away, which had all the last minute stuff from milk & gas to fishing supplies. We also grabbed an absolutely incredible cut of meat from the deli and grilled it back at camp for the best dinner ever, which we enjoyed while listening to the sound of loons and crickets. It was picture perfect. A truly beautiful and special place. Can't wait to return!

Loved our stay at the cabin! The home was stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, has the most beautiful scenery to wake up to (we also were able to see the Northern Lights at night!) and while the bathroom is small, it was carefully thought through and functional. It is a bit of a drive to Acadia National Park and dining options, but we didn’t mind it with the lovely fall scenery along the way. The host was very responsive and friendly, we would definitely stay here again.

Abby's cottage was clean and fresh and in a beautiful location as described. Communication was prompt and clear throughout. Abby and her husband Brian were excellent hosts who exceeded our expectations.

Very kind and responsive host, willing to help! We had a cozy night and the location is absolutely breathtaking and so so peaceful! Will definitely be returning this summer!

Chad responded quickly to a few questions we had and we had no issues whatsoever during iur stay! The place is very private and has a great view of the water and surrounding woods. We never noticed the one neighbor on the other side of the trees and it was just a great place to get away from everything! Beds were comfortable and shower was great! Kitchen and A/C were nice and the big TV was nice to have when we settled in for the night. This is a very cool place to escape to and enjoy peace and quiet.

The place was just as described, and Amanda and Jay are super responsive and helpful. The bunkie is cozy and small so make sure to not pack too much. Have had a ton of fun exploring the area, kayaking in the bay, or just reading next to a fire.
