Beautiful home as described. The ceilings are a little low in some areas so beware if you’re 6’ 2” and taller. Perfect get away with lots of hiking near by

Our family had an incredible time at Christie’s “mountain house” (as our kids called it). The short walk to the river was priceless and we enjoyed the fire pit every night. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

Absolutely perfect stay during a meaningful and emotional time. We came to this beautiful lakefront Airbnb to celebrate my husband’s birthday after his passing, hoping for peace and comfort—and it was everything we needed. The weather happened to be beautiful, which allowed us to take out the kayaks and fully enjoy the calm and serenity of the lake. The sunsets and sunrises were absolutely phenomenal—quiet, breathtaking moments that brought so much peace. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well stocked with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to extra linens and thoughtful touches throughout. You can tell it’s a family-owned home, filled with warmth and very well taken care of, which made it feel even more special. It was also very family-friendly, making it a perfect fit for all of us and plenty for all to do. We truly appreciated how kind, helpful, and responsive the host was throughout our stay. We’re grateful and hope to return .

This was our second time staying here for a family getaway and it was better than we remembered. The hosts were so great, very responsive and helpful. It snowed a bunch while we were here and they made sure we had what we needed and a plow came to help us get out of the driveway. The fireplaces are such a cozy touch and our dog loves the big fenced yard. We will be returning again!

Elizabeth was a life save for our mini vacation. Our other AirBnB fell through last minute, and we were so lucky to find this beautiful place within a few hours of our cancellation. The house is beautiful, with tall ceilings, spacious bedrooms and living room. I also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen since I like to cook. The hot tub was just what we needed: easy to use, quick to heat up, just perfect! Would highly recomment this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway in the Hudson Valley area :)

Great Place! Was only there for one night, but made use of the hot tub, and great view of the lake, a peaceful one day getaway.

Butternut Farm cottage charmed us with its cuteness and thoughtful amenities! We were impressed by the well-equipped kitchen (utensils, spices, Ziploc bags!) and the provided hiking sticks – Michele truly thought of everything. Our Frenchie loved exploring the farm. However, we did encounter a few wasps inside on separate occasions and ants in the small bathroom. The main bathroom's lukewarm water and leaky tub prevented relaxing baths. While the highway noise was unnoticeable thanks to provided noise machines, the first-floor bathroom setup (main bath attached to main bedroom) and limited hot water for multiple showers require planning. Despite these minor drawbacks, our family had a wonderful time. The cottage's charm and the pet-friendly farm made for a memorable getaway. We'd consider returning, hoping the small issues are addressed.

Bobby’s place was great for my birthday weekend!! It felt right at home and more ❤️ The only thing I can complain about is that there are barley corner stores lol but that has nothing to do with how great of a host Bobby was, thank you! I hope to come visit again 🙂

It's a lovely apartment that was very clean quite spacious and comfortable. Just a short minute or two drive to a few restaurants and to Daryl's house. We had a great time!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable home. Easy walk to Main St and great variety of stores and restaurants. Hosts were attentive, available if needed and very pleasant. Highly recommend.

From the beginning to the end we enjoyed the place. Everything on the market for a kitchen is stocked. There were even condiments available. Cleaning supplies that I would buy for my own home was available which was greatly appreciated.

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Served our needs perfectly. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower. Small kitchen, but had everything we needed. I requested a replacement pan for cooking eggs and Candice had a nice one shipped overnight from Amazon. Quiet safe neighborhood with a nice park nearby. Good experience all around.

Kim was a wonderful host!! She was active in terms of replying and very much helpful when needed. The Airbnb was amazing and matched the pictures perfectly. I had a very relaxing stay, away from the city. Very much recommended to anyone who would like a private and quiet place to unwind. I would love to visit soon🥰

This place is so nice and peaceful...it's almost spa-like with the hot tub and sauna all to yourself! It's an awesome place to get away from the city(in just a couple of hours) and have complete relaxation! its super clean, and the host was so friendly! Will definitely try and come back!

My partner and I enjoyed our little quick much needed getaway. Cabin was quaint and comfortable. Hot tub with a full moon overlooking the river was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife, even a pair of Eagles made an appearance. Nearby hiking during the day and delicious dinner in town at night. Erica was great in sending messages a few days prior with recommendations of where to dine and visit. Much needed escape was worth it!

Beautiful Airbnb. The hot tub was clean and perfect after a long day. There were plenty of extra towels and the bathroom was gorgeous. It felt as if a lot of thought went into setting this place up so we would have everything we could need - from wood for the fireplace to lighting around the hot tub to coffees and teas for the morning.

What a magnificent spot! If nothing else, the creek next to the house was worth the price of admission. But the whole experience was fantastic. We filled the place up, and had a dozen more family members come for Thanksgiving dinner. It was cozy and the extra kitchen in the cabin was a godsend. We loved being there, and everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you!

Stayed one night and loved it—super cute spot! The alpacas and animals were fun to be around, and waking up to a foggy spring morning with the big window was v pretty. No running water takes a little getting used to, but it was totally fine for a night and was communicated clearly in advance. Great location—feels nice and remote but still close to town.

This was our second vacation at this cabin and it was even more cozy for being familiar to us. We had a wonderful 8 days in nature and had a very hard time leaving. Smallwood forever!!!!
