This place is so nice and peaceful...it's almost spa-like with the hot tub and sauna all to yourself! It's an awesome place to get away from the city(in just a couple of hours) and have complete relaxation! its super clean, and the host was so friendly! Will definitely try and come back!

James was such a kind and responsive host. The house felt so cozy and welcoming. They even provide fluffy robes and super comfy sandals, which was such a nice touch. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook, and there were extra blankets too. I really enjoyed reading a book in the living room by the river, the peaceful nature around is just breathtaking. This place truly helped me slow down and feel recharged. Even though it was a short stay, I absolutely loved it. Everything was clean and welcoming. I wish I had more time to enjoy it all, especially the hot tub! Looking forward to coming back soon.

This is a lovely home with a very welcoming host. The property is well maintained, very comfortable, and we loved exploring the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this place for couples and families.

I had a wonderful time with my family at Stacy’s home! The hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. Our dogs felt at home. The instructions were very thorough and provided lots of recommendations of things to do in the area. The gym was also wonderful to take advantage of some down time. We definitely recommend this house and hope to return.

My husband, daughter and I, along with my friend and her family had a beautiful stay. The home is soacious, peaceful and gas everything you need. John was very responsive, we're low maintenance travelers so we didnt need much. The hot tub was heated and ready when we arrived. We used the oven toasters, the kitchen was filled with housewares. If you're into yoga/mind body connection there's lots of books to read and relax. We played cornhole outside. John had firewood reasy. The fire place is beautiful and easy to use. Locally we ebjoyed The Outpost, Fox and Hare Brewery, The Eldred. I can go on and on.

Our group had a great time at Anna’s place. Spacious and comfortable with great views. Anna is very responsive and gave clear check in instructions. Little communication needed given her detailed instructions, and the little communication needed- she was very responsive.

My partner and I enjoyed our little quick much needed getaway. Cabin was quaint and comfortable. Hot tub with a full moon overlooking the river was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife, even a pair of Eagles made an appearance. Nearby hiking during the day and delicious dinner in town at night. Erica was great in sending messages a few days prior with recommendations of where to dine and visit. Much needed escape was worth it!

This is our second time staying at The Blue House of Catskills - we had another great time! Everything is very clean & cozy and the house/kitchen is well-stocked. We enjoyed using the soaking tub, hanging out on the deck/in the yard, and walking around the neighborhood and nearby lake. Lots of friendly deer walking around and we even saw a beaver! We had two people in each bedroom and two people in the living room on the two couches - it's the perfect space for 6 adults! There's local shopping, food, and the site/museum for The Woodstock Music and Art Fair is a quick drive away. Love this upstate escape and can't wait to return again!

Anna Caroline's place was perfect for a winter weekend getaway from the city. The house was clean and spacious. It is well-stocked with cooking supplies. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful, quiet cabin exactly as described with the most comfortable bed! John was super-responsive and helpful, with lots of local suggestions. I was glad I got to meet the cute Bucky too!

My husband and I brought our 3 kiddos, 5, 2 and 1. It was absolutely perfect. Our oldest enjoyed the hot tub and there was plenty of outdoor space for the littlest ones! The bridge was magical and my kids loved playing in the river. We felt so at home and comfortable nobody wanted to leave. We will definitely be returning soon.

We had a great experience during our stay. The place was clean and very private. We came to the area for a trail race and it was super close to the State Park and would be a great get away for anyone looking to be close to nature and Minnewaska. The hot tub was the perfect addition. I would definitely recommend!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely time at Melinda’s place! It is so cozy, the esthetic is so nice. It was clean and private and quiet. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout - the water pressure in the shower was amazing! We saw deer every day, we went on lots of walks and the neighbors were all friendly. I misunderstood from the pictures, and thought the cabin was directly next to the lake, but it was in walking distance. We would definitely come back, it was so lovely!

Scott was amazing. Greeted us , answered our questions in person and was very responsive the entire trip. The place was clean and had every single thing you need for your little break: from a charging cell phone station to full spice rack for your kitchen. This was one of those very rare times when I felt not only at home, but like I was staying at my friends house. Strongly recommend♥️

We had an amazing valentines weekend and my dog couldn’t have had more fun ! This private cabin in the neck of the woods can truly be described as a real getaway ! It has a beautiful landscape and is strapped with everything we needed and more. After a full day of hikes in the local area, we found ourselves snowed in and enjoyed some card games. We had an outdoor fire in the stone pit and made some smores. Colleen and Julian were also super accommodating for us due to the weather conditions as well. They are beyond helpful ! Thank you guys ! Will definitely be back !

We had the most wonderful stay at Larry’s cabin in Smallwood! From the moment we booked, Larry was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative. His advice on local activities and attractions was spot on and truly made our trip memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, warm, and inviting—exactly what we were hoping for. The fireplace was such a fantastic feature, adding so much charm to the space. It was incredibly easy to use, and Larry thoughtfully supplied plenty of firewood, kindling, and paper, making it hassle-free to enjoy cozy evenings by the fire. We also loved watching the local wildlife around the property! The deer often came up to the cabin, and it was such a treat to see them up close—it added to the peaceful, natural atmosphere of the area. Our dog, Lily, had the time of her life exploring the yard, which was perfect for her! On Larry’s recommendation, we visited the Smallwood dog park, and it was a highlight for Lily. We had a great stay at this cabin! The location was on a dead end street which made it very quiet, serene, and private. The lake was visible from the back porch of the house & a very close walk away. The house comes with access to a semi-private beach/dock area which is the perfect place to spend the day in the summer. The house was decorated beautifully while being extremely comfortable at the same time. Our host, Kamil, was very responsive. If I had a question or concern he was extremely helpful within a short period of time. All around, really enjoyed this stay & would definitely return when in this area again!

Seeking a retreat to celebrate simplicity and solitude in nature? Look no further. Cabin 192 offers a warm, cozy and engaging space with only the fundamental amenities. I was struck by how well curated the VHS and cassette tape options were (City Lights and A Kind of Magic). The limited choices for entertainment and the placement of each item expressed honor for the items that the host deems as valuable. I was taken back to my childhood and enjoyed interacting with vintage items that were still in pristine condition. The space is clean and kept me warm throughout a cold wet night. I would visit again, no question.

This cabin was very cozy and the surrounding area was very scenic and pretty, as well as quiet and peaceful. Kerri allowed my group of friends to shoot our short film outside the house, and it was a great location for filming as well as a great place for some of the crew members to stay overnight and hangout after shoot. We didn't have much free time but we were provided with lots of recommendations of places to checkout nearby and I'd love to maybe rent the place again sometime to explore the scenery. The neighbors were friendly and Kerri gave us very clear and useful information about the house to make our stay easy.

We had the best time at Amanda s cabin in the woods. So cozy, so comfortable. It was impeccably clean. I wish I could live there. Amanda responded right away, the fact that it is pet friendly is a plus!!! I want to come back as soon as possible. If you want a little getaway, THIS is your spot. My husband, myself and our furry baby had the best cozy time ( FYI: I m all about cozy!) Thank you for everything. For those who are like me, you have found the perfect place! Enjoy 😉

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

I’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s over the years. Not all reserved by myself. However, this is definitely in the top of the cleanest ones I’ve stayed at. That’s really important to me. I know things get missed sometimes, but I don’t want to see a strand of hair in the fridge I’m putting my food in or in the shower I’m washing my body in. Sometimes it’s inevitable and easily missed. But just a little more attention to detail eliminates that slight miss. Speaking of attention to detail, Lisa truly made me feel special when I walked in the door to a personalized note on the kitchen counter w/coffee and a snack. That type of attention to detail goes a long way with me. Just a simple thoughtful gesture. It’s the little things that are important! Also during our stay, Lisa remained in communication with me with any questions I had. It was an awesome stay with some preteens and a toddler. The teens enjoyed the game room while the toddler enjoyed the mini kitchen perfect for her size. Thank you!!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Forest Nook in Wurtsboro, NY! She’s by far the most hospitable host we’ve ever encountered! She made us feel like family from the moment we arrived & even baked us a fresh blueberry loaf which was a perfect treat after a long flight! Throughout our stay, she went above and beyond her duties as a host. It honestly felt like we had known her for years. Her cabin is breathtaking, with a million-dollar lake view that we will never forget. From sunrise to sunset, you won't find a more peaceful, quiet, or beautiful spot. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get away from a big city & want a peaceful, relaxing stay. Everything you need is just a short 15-minute drive away in Middletown, and the drive is an experience in itself, winding through a gorgeous green landscape, as if you're cruising through a lush green forest. Vanessa made our stay incredibly comfortable & unforgettable! We will definitely be returning!
