Places to stay in Rumney

Perfect getaway! This place was pristine and everything we needed. Beautiful views and plenty of places to eat and explore in the area.

I visited Thatcher and Lisa's place for a few days in February with 5 friends. It was an incredible experience overall. The home was a perfect peaceful getaway, with awesome amenities like multiple private rooms, a well-stocked kitchen, hot tub, and games. It is also very nicely located, providing a peaceful rural setting while also having great access to nearby areas like Woodstock, Hanover, and Killington (where we spent ~3 days skiing). Additionally, Lisa and Thatcher really went above and beyond as hosts. They left very clear instructions and recommendations, made sure that we arrived smoothly in the face of inclement weather, and even shipped home an item we left behind. I definitely recommend staying here for your next Vermont adventure!

This is a second time we are staying at Willem’s place this winter and we love it. It is closed to skiing and has all you need to have a fun and comfortable stay. Thank you!

Very nice place to stay right by South Peak. Whole place very clean and great amenities. Rick was extremely kind and helpful, above and beyond as a host!

We loved the views at the Sommet. The house was spacious enough for all 6 of us without even spending much time in the guest house. We found the beds comfortable and the 3 bathrooms were helpful. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and we ended up eating in 5 out of 7 nights. The Uno, Jenga and Clue were big hits with the whole family. Thanks!

Loved our stay here in Wolfeboro. Such a beautiful home and property. The added touch of games, toys, and books made it so comfortable and relaxing that we hardly needed to leave the house. Would love to come back again someday!

Ricky’s place was amazing! Fabulous location just a 10 minute drive from the Franconia Loop Trail (where we hiked). Big studio apartment with a full kitchen & bathroom. Very cute woodsy decor inside & there is a lovely common area in the apartment with board games & and a fire for after dinner activities! We had such a great time!

I cannot recommend Rick’s unit enough. Rick was extremely helpful, being proactive with clear instructions and checking in during our stay. The unit was spotless, well equipped and tastefully yet comfortably decorated with a local ski vibe. The bed and the pillows are all memory foam allowing for a super comfortable sleep. Delicious coffee provided for every person per day. The kitchen is fully equipped with clean and quality utensils, so popping to the Price Chopper closeby and cooking some meals at home is a great money saver. An added bonus is the restaurants on the property, we arrived late, hungry and tired, and it was a treat to pop over to Pub32 for a beer and a pizza. The only thing I would mention is that the unit is quite a walk down the corridor - so not a problem at all for able bodied individuals, but might impact people who have difficulty walking.
