Monthly Rentals in Makawao

LizBeth was extremely accommodating and greeted us with a warm welcome. Wonderful small cottage. Very clean and peaceful. It is extremely close to Makawao town and many of the great offerings is upcountry. Having a designated parking space was an added bonus too! Thank you so much LizBeth for hosting us and for the great recommendations. Especially O’o farms. We loved the coffee/brunch tour.

Haiku Garden was very lovely and was closer to the road to Hana and the national park versus resorts on the west or south side of the island. It was also closer to more local restaurants and spots which was nice to get away from the resorts for a little bit different experience. I would recommend this place for those looking for something a bit more rural and different and also a good starting point for some of the islands attractions. The place did get a bit hot during the evening when we first checked in, but we got all the fans going to help. The shower was also quite lovely. Overall a very nice spot.

Pamela was a truly wonderful host. She was incredibly attentive, always available when needed, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The views from her property are absolutely stunning—both peaceful and breathtaking, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Her home is not only beautifully decorated but well-maintained, reflecting the care and pride she takes in hosting. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying with Pamela.

Amazing stay, not only was the place great, but both Joanna and Richard were extremely accommodating for our wedding weekend! Communication was on point. The Airbnb itself is well equipped, and the location is very close to both Kahului, and the many attractions in Kula, on the way up Haleakala. We have been to Maui many times, but this is the BEST location!! It’s well worth your money to stay next to great people, at a clean and well thought out Airbnb. We are so grateful to have had this experience!! Definitely will book again since we are just an island away :) Thank you Joanna and Richard, we won’t forget it.
