Places to stay in Jaffrey

If you are looking for an idyllic lake house experience, this is it! We could have spent our entire trip just sitting on the porches—upstairs, downstairs, one screened-in porch, and the lovely dock. We used the kayaks and the paddle boat multiple times. The house was perfect for us because we are a close family of three, but if you need privacy from other guests, this wouldn’t be the ideal house as one bedroom opens into the other. The beds are soft and comfortable as is the sofa. Paula and Tim were extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely return to this house. It was difficult to leave the gorgeous leaves.

We absolutely loved our stay at Barbara’s home! It was spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and 1 child with no issue. The kitchen is well appointed, allowing us to cook meals throughout our stay. We had a small storm roll through, which dropped 5” of snow overnight (great for our next day on the mountain!), and we were thrilled to see that the driveway and walkway had been cleared prior to 7am. The bedrooms were comfortable and the view from the great room is truly stunning. Would love to stay here again! Thank you, Barbara!

This house was great for a large group to visit Sunapee area. Cassandra was responsive and helpful. The house was clean, neat, very well stocked, and had plenty of space and things to do.

This is the second year we stayed at Paradise on the Pond, a great spot to access both Pat's Peak and Crotched Mountain Ski resorts. Cynthia was very accommodating of some changes in our schedule due to my upcoming surgery and she provided an extra very comfy blow up bed for a 3rd guest. Thank you Cynthia! Had an excellent time and the cabin is extremely convenient for any nearby skiing! The house was very well kept (plenty of firewood available, hot tub was clean and ready to go on check-in, grill was gassed up, etc.), and plenty of space for even a large group. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the home. Perfect for our ski vacation to Sunapee and Okemo! It was one of our favorite Airbnb’s. So cozy, great location, great atmosphere, great decorating, etc. We just felt right at home from a minute. We walked in the door Beds comfortable. The upstairs is great if you have a few kids who just want to crash on a bunch of different beds. Laurie, who we mostly communicated with, was fantastic. So nice and so easy to get in touch with if we needed her for anything. Thanks for a great day! Hope to come back someday.

This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. It is quite close to Stratton and the hosts were all great communicators with a quick response time. I hope to stay there again sometime!
