Vacation rentals in Haiku-Pauwela

I have nothing but glowing things to say about Dee’s beautiful home away from home. In addition to the spectacular oceanfront view (incredible sunsets and whale watching!), the condo itself has all the extra amenities you could want: snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, washer/dryer, ice maker, A/C, and more. The lanai doors open completely to give the condo an indoor/outdoor living feel, and the location at the far end of Papakea makes it feel particularly private. Walking distance to the food truck area, ABC store, and a number of other local spots. We hope to stay again in the future!

Lily's place is just as described. Comfortable and had everything our family of 5 needed for 1-week stay. Kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated that all the beach stuff was provided. Lily was very communicative. Close to many beaches, restaurants, and stores.

We loved our stay! The view is unbeatable and the tiki torches at night add to the ambiance. The place is clean, great location, and had all we needed. Many thanks to John for hosting us!

Our family of 8 (15-50yo) had a great stay at Kevin’s place! We walked out the back door every morning to walk on the beach and we went swimming/boogie boarding many days right there. Sunsets were amazing and we even saw a whale out there! The inside is clean and spacious and there are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor plus a loft up another flight that has a king size and queen size bed. The location was actually great for us as we ate at Fish Tacos El Blue food truck in Olowalu village 3 times, did a whale watch tour which was 6 min away, went to Turtle Rock at the Post Office a few times to see turtles and swim (10min) and had grocery stores within 6 min. We did go north to the resort area and while there are a few more beaches to choose from, it’s busier. But having a large kitchen to cook family meals, space to move around, easy access in and out of our resort home and listening to waves every day made this place worth it 100%!

We had a lovely stay and the host was very responsive and helpful. They even brought us two brand new boogie boards to use when we asked about them. We had such a good time and were very happy with our stay. We are chemical sensitive, so the only difficulty for us was the clothes washer as a strong fragrance (tide) was used so we had to buy some sheets while on the island and use our own towels etc. This isn’t uncommon for us though, there are so many strong detergents used these days and they are instant headaches for us. A HUGE relief is that they did not use any air fresheners, just strong smelling laundry detergent. Everything else was absolutely wonderful. 10/10 recommend.

Wonderful stay at this Maui condo! Having the beach right outside the window was awesome. Will definitely look to stay here if we ever come back!

Bill's condo was exactly as described. The beautiful view from the lanai is definitely the highlight, with lots of room and a comfy lounge chair to spend time enjoying watching turtles pop in and out of the waves. All the amenities ensure you feel right at home, with super comfy king bed, extra pillows and linen, our week-long stay was perfect. Bonus, you are just a few minutes walking distance from the harbour, the ocean center (an absolute must!!) and Seascape restaurant (went for lunch twice, so yummy). Communication prior to arrival went well, but everything went so smoothly that we never had to reach out once we settled in. Washer and dryer were very convenient, we left with suitcase ready for our next adventure. Thank you Bill for sharing such a jem :-)
