Summer Stay

Mark and his villa were perfect for us during our "displacement" for almost 2 weeks while our floor was redone. He was the perfect host: 1 - being beyond accommoative with our quick displacement 2 - was an excellent communicator and lightning quick responses before/during/after our stay 3 - the villa is in a gorgeous area, with plenty to do nearby and all the amentities you could want: grocery stores, restaurants, and things to see/do super close 4 - there's plenty of room throughout the house for everyone (including our dog!) 5 - the kitchen is well-stocked both with cooking staples and equipment, even had a fresh bag of coffee waiting for us! I can't recommend him and this listing enough, whether you are displaced during reno's like we were or just in the area and looking for a place that can feel like a home away from home. It has everything you could need/want from my perspective, and I am very picky when I am spending an elongated period of time. Thanks Mark, was a pleasure :)
A view of the serene Annisquam River is framed by blooming lilac flowers. A gazebo is positioned to the left, overlooking the water. A round table and chairs are set on a deck, providing a perfect spot to enjoy the tranquil scenery.

Phil's Harvard & MIT Home

Fantastic location, walkable to Harvard Square, great for a family, parking pass especially helpful. We accidentally left some clothing behind and the host was great in communicating with us about getting the clothing returned.

Explore Boston in style! Dream home, pool, sauna.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tamara’s house. We arrived very late at night and everything is ready for us. We are a family of five and we do quite a bit of cooking. We got everything we needed from the house, saved us time and money. Highly recommend this house to everyone visiting the Boston/Newton area.
An open living space features warm wooden flooring and light-colored walls. Comfortable seating areas are arranged to encourage conversation, with large windows allowing natural light to fill the room. Artwork is displayed on the walls, contributing to the inviting atmosphere.

Pleasant House in Rockport: Old-world charm and

RebeccaRating, 5 stars33 months ago
This house is gigantic! Four full bathrooms (two upstairs, two downstairs). One of the upstairs bathrooms has a shower/tub and the rest have shower stalls. The kitchen and the grill were well-equipped and everything was in working order. The decor has a lot of personality -- clearly someone really loves pop music. One thing worth mentioning, a few of the bedrooms have an unexpected step up or down when you leave the room, including the one bedroom that's on the ground floor. This might be an issue for people who are older or less confident on stairs? But it wasn't a problem for my family.

Helena House: European flair, close to Plum Cove

EmmanuelRating, 5 stars21 months ago
We immediately felt at home at Helena’s House. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, the living rooms are welcoming and the kitchen is well equipped. Add an excellent location and all the ingredients of a great stay were in place. All in all, the house is larger than what the pictures suggest and will comfortably house a group of eight. We would definitely come back.
