Alton vacation rentals

My husband and I have been vacationing in Wells for years. This is the first year we traveled to Wells around the holidays and the first time we used Air BnB. Beautiful time of year to see the lower coastline of Maine. The Air BnB on Atlantic Ave that David hosted is perfect. The atmosphere, location, beachfront, and a spacious patio/deck is amazing. The master bedroom has a remarkable view of the ocean and allows you to hear the sounds of the waves crashing onto the beach for that calm feeling. The town had their 39th annual holiday parade which did not disappoint. No question the Seafood in the area is stellar. Many small shops in the area and if you have time Portland is an hour away and they have a very eclectic scene. Kennebunkport, York, Ogunquit are all in driving distance, those towns are gorgeous as well. We love Wells Beach and everything seems to center around its location. Be advised that some of the local business may be closed due to being seasonal. Thank you David.

We loved our stay! CONVENIENT!! Perfect for a small family or couple. Right across the street from the beach. Two lovely restaurants right next door, the general store for quick snacks. Walk to the town, park, arcade. The beach was lovely and the tide never came in too close! The rental was very clean, had everything you would need. View and sunrise were amazing. Allee was very responsive! Would definitely come back with my family!

We enjoyed our stay! Patrick’s home is a beach front property located on Drakes Island. The home is a perfect location for any family looking for some R&R and beach time. The home is spacious, offering spectacular views in addition to being equipped with a wide variety of amenities. Our family found the elevator in the home to be most helpful when transporting our luggage and coolers. Lastly, the home is centrally located between Kennebunk and Kittery where you will find a wide variety of shops, restaurants and activities for all ages. We will definitely be staying here again!

Our crew of 12 (7 adults, 5 kids/tweens) loved our New Years stay at Alyssa’s place! The open layout of the second floor combined with 1st floor/3rd floor bedrooms worked great for us, with plenty of space for both hanging out and privacy. Easy drive to Portland and local hikes, plus local beach access and nearby groceries and restaurants - even in the off season. The kitchen was well equipped and Alyssa was very responsive.

Ocean Minded is a great spot! Centrally located to all of the fun York Beach has to offer. Place is beautiful, spacious and clean. As stated in the description, we were able to hear the muffled music from the second floor restaurant but with a white noise maker sleeping was no problem.

What a location! Right in the middle of Perkins Cove. The view from the back deck is EVERYTHING! Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Approx 1 mile from town. Hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Loved the experience of staying in the heart of Perkins Cove!

House was spacious in a quiet neighborhood. The beach is a short walk away. There was some mold in the bottom of the shower which was the only downside, but it did not detract from the overall stay. Would stay here again!

Beautiful views overlooking river and waterways, with all essential amenities on main level. Home has full set of utensils and pots/pans for cooking in modern and newly renovated kitchen. Beds and mattresses were comfortable. Responsive host. Highly recommend for a family vacation, especially if in the summer when weather is warmer. If I travel to Portsmouth area again, I would stay here again.

We only stayed for one night, but we want to come back again! The cabin is literally off the highway and next to a great restaurant! We had a lovely fire in the evening as well! It's very peaceful and the cabin felt like a small home. Definitely a nice little retreat and you will not be disappointed!

Stefanie’s cabin is beautiful! You definitely need 4 wheel drive in the winter. Her rules and expectations were clear, and her home had beautiful views and was super cozy. The home had everything you need to have a comfortable stay!

Beautiful place to stay!

Our stay was fantastic. Hot tub was great and clean. One thing I will say is while we were there, it snowed about a foot and the driveway was not plowed. Granted I have a large truck but our neighbors could not leave the driveway due to them having a small car. We had to basically shovel the whole driveway so they could leave. I obviously expected it to snow and have to shovel a little bit it’s a decent size driveway. However it did not take away from our stay at the cottage. I would still rent again for a weekend.

Our family had an unforgettable weekend trip in Campton. We spent most of our time sightseeing, but coming home to the cozy cabin made our trip complete. In the evening, we played uno and relaxed by the wood stove. It was perfect. Jason was very responsive to messages and checked in to make sure our stay was going smoothly. We would love to stay again!

My husband and I went to Ossipee to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was cute, cozy, and exceptionally clean, with every amenity you could possibly need. Michele was a wonderful host, attentive to every detail and offering great suggestions for things to do in the area. She made our anniversary extra special. We will definitely be back—we loved it! Only stayed for 2 nights and I already want to go back! It was exactly like the photos and description, clean, neat, provided all the basics necessities and the hot tub was well cleaned and up kept. It’s a wonderful and cozy get away!

Quiet, cozy cabin in a beautiful area perfect for a weekend away reset. Our dogs loved the area and walking trails and local pizza shop Anika's was delicious too!

Beautiful location! Loved having access to a quiet lake. Perfect spot to relax with our two kids. Great games and coloring options inside. We enjoyed having a movie night with one of the many dvds available too! The cottage is cosy and cute and we had just the right space for our family! Thank you!

Jan and Mike were wonderful hosts. They were welcoming, thoughtful, and available to ask questions or chat. They also give their tenants plenty of space and privacy. The space was clean, cozy, and well-designed; it had everything you might need for a relaxing time away. Although, the Internet works very well if you do need to access email or attend to any work/academic related tasks. Views of the lake were gorgeous, and being on the lake was even better. Jan and Mike let us borrow their kayaks on our last morning, which was exactly what we needed. We highly recommend their cottages!

Our stay was amazing!!!! We were only in ogunquit for one night and it was the perfect space to stay. Perfect distance to all of the action. The bed was SO comfy and the space had everything we needed & was so cute and cozy!

It was overall a tremendous experience. I would definitely recommend it!

Our family loved the cottage! It was cozy with everything we needed. The back porch was our favorite spot to spend time. The pool and hot tub were so fun. The staff came by with popsicles while we were in the hot tub and our boys couldn’t stop talking about them! Location was perfect for our needs and we will be back for sure!!

We had a great stay at this cottage and highly recommend! We booked our stay at the last minute, same day, due to some unforeseen construction at our primary residence. Donna was able to accommodate us with no issues. The cottage is very cozy and our dogs had a great time playing in the large field behind the home!

I’ve stayed here a few times. I continue to enjoy all aspects of the property. Give it a try.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said. This place is a gem. We were the last to book for the year and Tim and Megan made sure that everything was perfect for when we got there. Upon arriving we immediately took the canoe on the lake and caught the last bits of sun. Although it rained for a good portion of our short trip there’s still something magical about having a cup of coffee on the back porch as the rain drops hit the water. 100 percent would come back.
