Big Bay Getaway

Beautiful and very clean house. The bathroom was very clean. Everything in the house seemed like it was renovated so that is a plus and heaters in every room so the house was never cold.

Lagoon Lodge: Fish/Bike/Hike/Boat/Paddle/Ski/Swim!

SamuelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
So many good things to say… Location was amazing, near Mt. Bohemia and surrounded by Michigan’s most dynamic landscapes. For the host, Karin had very clear instructions and quickly responded to any questions/chats. Karin and her co-hosts could teach masterclasses on running AirBnbs. We brought everything with us that we could think of (air fryer, rice steamer, nonstick pan, disposable coffee cups, etc.) and she already had every item ready for use. We took notes for updates on our home because this place was amazing. A summertime rental would probably be insane. You could tell the place had the outdoor area going on but we were there mid-February. Kudos to this place and its management!

Lovely Place - Prime Location/Near Trails/Hot Tub

BrookeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at Karla’s property in Hancock. It was perfect for our group of three moms and four daughters. The girls loved the hot tub. The home was immaculate and provided everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked. The snacks that were left for us were a nice, personal touch. Karla was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

Rustic Farm House

BobRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Tammy's place was so much better than I expected. The private location was second to none, yet still a short drive if you needed/wanted to shop or be by other people. I was bummed I didn't have enough time to check out the sauna. Everything was very neet and clean. the waterfrontage was great for relaxing, having a bon fire, star gazing, rock hounding. The number of deer seen on and around the property was amazing. The only drawbacks were no washer and dryer, not an issue for the few days we were there (4), the amount of flies trying to get inside, can't blame the owner though as they cannot control mother nature. While it wasn't an issue while we were there, I didn't see any air condioning options. They may have some, I didn't notice it due to being late fall. This may sound odd, but I told my wife, this is the kind of place I want to go to to die...I know, a bit dark for some, but for me, it just felt so soothing and relaxing every minute I was there. Hard to explain. Thank you!

Duplex B Wilderness Resort

TaraRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I met Richard at check in and he was extremely nice, and so helpful with best places to go in the area. Communication was fabulous! The house was absolutely spotless; it looked nicer than the photos. I particularly loved the big windows to allow the fall breeze in. It’s right next to a RV and tent campground so depending on the season there may be more noise from fans, kids, typical camping sounds. The dedicated fire pit is wonderful, the porch is so cozy, and there’s a nice mowed little yard too! Last but not least, a bed is dreamy comfy. A huge perk for me is the proximity to trails and a view of the lake. There are 2 snowshoe trails within a minute walk and the lake is just about as close but you can’t see the water from the house. A general store and MT Bohemia are within walking distance as well. I loved it :) Thank you Richard!

Cedar Street Retreat

I was in town with my son to help him secure new housing, and had only planned on staying 5 nights. We needed to extend our stay, and Ryan was very accommodating and welcoming. The house is super clean and fit our needs perfectly. Walking distance to the beach and more. We felt very comfortable and at home . We’ll definitely be back when we visit our son.
