Places to stay in Placerville

The place was so much nicer than I was expecting! Every detail of the house was amazing. The towels and washcloths and bedding were excellent, not the cheap ones you usually get. I appreciated the floor lamps. The place was filled with wonderful little upgrades. Everything was spotless. My little dog enjoyed okaying in the fenced in yard. It was very peaceful. I definitely want to go back!

The Sunflower Cottage was perfect! The location was gorgeous and quiet. Charley was able to accommodate for an early check in, which was appreciated! The guest book had great recommendations for local activities and restaurants, but we also enjoyed relaxing in the tiny home and in the private fire pit area. There is also a beautiful sunset watching spot within a 10 minute walk! Thank you, Charley! We will be returning.

We stayed with Joanne and Bill in the spring of 2021 and knew we had to go back some day. We got married last week and stayed again for our honeymoon. The property is the most unique and artistic we've ever booked, and the hosts are an inspiring and welcoming couple, making a beautiful life in the middle of nowhere. See Mesa Verde. See Hovenweep. See Canyon of the Ancients. We can't recommend this stay enough.

Shannon's place was quite literally the nicest AirBnB we've ever stayed in! I loved the decor! All the furniture was comfortable, cozy, and clean! 10 out of 10! Would definitely stay again!

Nothing but good things to say about Rene’s place. Situated in a totally unique, rustic camper with direct views of the mountains. Has a grill, kitchen, shower, and fire pit! Really all you could ask for and more in the heart of Colorado wine country. Totally recommend for anyone considering staying in Paonia

Laurie’s place was exactly what I expected. Having been there previously I knew this building was older. Laurie did a great job keeping the condo minimal but still provided everything you could need. It was just a short walk to the lifts and was so nice being right at the ski resort and not having to deal with parking, etc. Definitely worth the price.

Holly's place was perfect for staying a few nights in Montrose while I was working at an expo event. Centrally located so it was easy to get everywhere and it was an easy 1 mile walk to downtown. The best part was the all the details - cold fizzy water in the fridge, coffee and tea, q-tips, shower supplies, access to the washer and dryer. It was very clean, very cute and comfortable. I didn't hang out in the yard, but I can imagine doing so! I know I'll be back.

Comfortable, unique stay. The loft bedroom may not be for everyone but very cozy.
