Vacation rentals in Northbridge

If you need a break from the hustle and bustle you NEED to stay at the Farmette Sanctuary! My boyfriend and our 2 dogs stayed here to get a break from life and it was everything we wanted and more. Sometimes it’s tough with dogs but they couldn’t of made it more welcoming. They provided dog treats, dog beds, dog bags…so thoughtful!! The decor and the lay out of the suite is so calming and homey feeling. Bed was soooo comfy. The window views of the woods was so cool we enjoyed watching the rain come down. The hot tub was fun and it was nice to be able to go in late like 11pm and listen to the quiet outdoors. And to top it off, those farm animals were so dang cute and friendly🥰 I’m going to miss them! Can’t wait to come back

Gary was extremely helpful and responsive. The house is beautifully designed. The only downside was the ticks—we found several on our dog throughout our stay. Apparently, male ticks are less likely to transmit diseases, but I’d recommend giving your dog tick prevention medication before your trip, just to be safe.

We had a wonderful stay at Jackie’s charming 1780s farmhouse in Uxbridge, MA! From the moment we arrived, Jackie made us feel right at home—she greeted us at the door and gave us a brief tour of the house, which truly looks like it belongs in a storybook. The home is beautifully preserved and cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout. Jackie stocked the kitchen with everything we needed for a light breakfast—milk, coffee, tea, yogurt, scones, and oatmeal—which was perfect for our short stay. She also put together a detailed guidebook with local recommendations, and we’re so glad we followed her suggestion to try UXLOCALE—it was absolutely incredible. Only about an hour outside of Boston, the area was peaceful, scenic, and a perfect little getaway. As an added bonus, we got to meet her two adorable dogs in the morning, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay with a touch of history and charm!

George is so warm and friendly. We love his studio and the view was just breathtaking. We spent most of our time just sitting in front of the big windows. His art works even inspired us to do some sketchings of our own...and we have never drew/painted anything since back in high school many many decades ago! His backyard is also such a work of art.... the beautifully landscaped koi pond, the giant rock sculpture with buddha, penguin sculpture...a pool that looks more like a beautiful water feature, spectacular azalea shrubs all made the whole backyard such a pleasure to look at as well as spend time in. At his studio space, we just decided to chill and enjoy living for the moment. We felt inspired and rejuvenated after our stay and we enjoyed our interactions with George very much and hope to have an opportunity to return to see him and his beautiful home again. Thanks for sharing your wonderful piece of heaven on earth with us travelers.

This is a must stay! We just did a roadtrip all across the US and this was one of our favorite spots to stay! They put a lot of effort into making the place homey and functional! 10/10 highly recommend - the hosts are very welcoming as well!

What a fantastic find! We had a lovely time staying in Miss Maple for two nights. Norm and Amy were incredible hosts- Norm set up a fire for us on our first night which was so kind. Amy gave us great recommendations for the local area and was the perfect host. The bed was extremely comfortable, it was very cosy and we always had enough water etc. Miss Maple is beautifully decorated in gorgeous vintage Americana and fully equipped with all you could need for a stay. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful property. I came here to rest and relax in the comfort and nature and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful hiking trails, comfortable living space. Well worth your money if you're looking to spend time in one of the more rural areas of Massachusetts. Will come again!

Michael is a really great host and the place itself is very whimsical and fun. I highly recommend staying there to anyone who wants to hang out on a peaceful farm that's a bit on the playful side as well.

Ana was such a great host. She gave us a tour of her places and showed us where everything was at. She is such a pleasant and kind person. The area that she lives in is such a cute area
