Cypress House in Monterey Bay

PaulRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We visited as a part of 3 (dad and two teenage daughters), in October 2024. The house was very clean and in great condition in a quiet, private area which felt safe. This was a perfect base to explore Monterey and the surrounding area. We would particularly recommend the Wharf and Cannery Row, 17 Mile Drive and Carmel-by-the-Sea if you’re planning your visit.

Explore Monterey Bay from a House on an Artichoke Farm

TobiasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Sean´s place for one night. The house is very beautiful and tastefully decorated. You will have nice sunsets overlooking the farm fields. The house is located close to the highway which makes it very conveniently accessible but you do not hear any noise from the highway at the house. Definitely recommend to stay here!

Pacific Grove Mid Century Near Beach

A beautiful, well furnished space, that provided a nice getaway. The fireplace and comfortable reading nook allowed me to start and finish a book. We'll be back for more getaways.

Monterey Bay Oasis on the Ocean!

PattyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Monterey Dunes. The unit is beautiful and exactly as described. Watching the whale spouts across the bay was amazing as we sat both on the deck and in the full-windowed living room...there is not a bad seat in the house for enjoying the bay and the sunsets! Shelli provided us with great recommendations both locally and throughout the rest of our trip. We did a whale watching trip with Sea Goddess during our stay and saw so many varieties of whales and other sea creatures, truly a highlight and one we highly recommend as Monterey Bay is a hot bed of activity. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We hope to be back one day from Delaware! Patty+Larry Sinkus

Peaceful Seaside Getaway

YadiraRating, 5 stars4 days ago
My partner and I, along with our two dogs, had the best time at Kit and Annette’s place! It was homey from the beginning and incredibly clean and cozy, almost like staying at a relative’s house. We also loved the snacks and coffee that they provided! The location was close to Monterey and Carmel, which we frequented. Kit and Annette were very quick to respond when we had a question. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Adorable Sea House

JennaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This house was beyond our expectations! We came for my mother in laws 70th because Monterey/Pacific Grove is a place that she visits every year on her birthday. My husband and I wanted to do something special so we booked this house. She said at the end of our visit, "can we come here next year?" ❤️ Between the view from the front window (whales, seals, otters 🤯), access to the Monterey Bay Coastal Walking Path (right across the street), being walkable to the aquarium and cannery row, this provided all we needed for a special and memorable vacation. Dean was so accommodating, and very easy to communicate with. We are very thankful and highly recommend this spot!

Endless Summer Home Steps To Lovers Point Beach

EmilyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Our stay in Pacific Grove was my favorite part of our quick wedding weekend. The house was charming and clean and I especially loved the sunroom! We had a wedding on Monterey beach so we didn't have too much time between the rehearsal, welcome party, and wedding day festivities so being steps away from the coast was a huge advantage to me. We took advantage of the proximity to the stunning running/biking path and we were only minutes from Pacific Groves main strip, plus parking was easy! 10/10 location, friendly host, would stay again!

Gorgeous Secluded Treehouse with Spectacular Views

KevinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Such a magical stay - gorgeous house, the views are stunning, and Tracy was a first-rate host. She was clear and communicative, and was incredibly gracious when I mistakenly forgot to send an accommodation request in advance. This is a perfect spot if you want a deluxe retreat that’s still an easy drive into town. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Le Bijou at Toujours Maison

Jerzy & HannaRating, 5 starstoday
Carmel is an unusual place. Its history, geography, climate and people created a village resembling Garden of Eden. Michele’s apartment is an excellent base for day trips and a fine place to rest afterwards. We admired the French theme decor: busy yet joyful and full of character. Not to mention the amenities, fully stocked kitchen, big bathroom with quality towels and toiletries, great beds, heated floors and other surfaces 🙂. Michele provides everything one would like at an AirB&B, and more, e.g. a lantern to walk the unlit streets of Carmel, thermal picnic bag, electric milk frother, etc. Fantastic holiday, away from grey late autumn in Toronto.

The host very kindly allowed me to check in early after suffering from food poisoning at at my previous location. Everything was as described. Just keep in mind that the unit is directly above a saloon that is open until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.

Fancy-Free by the Sea

AshleyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had such lovely stay, it was even cuter than the pictures. Very clean, comfortable, and private. We were visiting the area for a couple nights and loved how close it was to downtown Carmel and Monterey. Had no trouble finding it because we downloaded the directions beforehand since service in the area isn't the best. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, peaceful Beach Getaway!

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We spent a week- very comfortable with a wonderful kitchen, a flat walk from the car into the front door. This AirBnB is surrounded by dunes- not only the back patio, other upper units overlook a courtyard sand-dune-garden, -ramps, decks & staircases everywhere- beneath Monterey Cypress trees! A door leads out the back of this garden to the beach… explore north to Sunset State Beach, and south to the Pajaro River- without a car! We drove to: 1. Hike at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve (~$10). 2. Hike Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Reserve- free & terrific Slough info. 3. Kayak or paddle board from the North Harbor of Moss Landing (parking)- the $$$ Kayak rental shops are here- best way to see otters, pelicans, etc. -don’t get TOO close! 4. Kirby Park- a free/grungy place for parking/launching in the Slough- NO boat traffic… or PM Winds! 5. Hike Fort Ord National Monument- trail #28 at Creekside Terrace TH- off Reservation Rd from RT 68. Get paper trail maps near the restrooms.

Modern studio, central location

JanaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The apartment is incredibly cozy, clean, and fully equipped with everything you might need. It's located in a wonderful and safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Rick and Will are extremely attentive, always available, super kind, and very helpful. I lacked nothing during my stay. You also have your own parking space right in front of the door, a private bathroom, and access to the shared pool. There are several shops within easy walking distance, and places like Montery, Old Fisherman’s Wharf, Cannery Row, the Aquarium, Carmel, and Pacific Grove are just a few minutes away by car. The area is also a little bit less affected by coastal fog, and I had plenty of sunshine during my stay, which I really enjoyed. I felt completely comfortable throughout my stay and would definitely recommend it to my friends. I hope to return again soon!

One of a kind full River and Ocean view!

TheresaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
You can’t beat the view at Arlene’s. We were there for the nature and it did not disappoint. Arlene also has tennis equipment, boogie boards, a telescope, games, and beach chairs. This location is remote but we liked that. It is a 20 minute drive to stores and restaurants but that is ok as long as you plan for it. You have access to a private beach since it is a gated community. Our kids loved the activity center. The beds were comfortable and the Roku that allows you to log in to streaming apps was nice to have. Easy access to Monterey and Big Sur. So much nature to visit in this area, even within the resorts gates!

Watsonville Condo w/ Ocean Views & Beach Access

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I would highly recommend this place. The four days we spent here were heaven. It had convenient access to both Santa Cruz and Monterey. Of course we hardly wanted to leave, given the amazing location just feet away from a beautiful beach rich with waterfowl and sea life (we saw dolphins twice and also a seal). The condo was sparkling, well stocked/equipped and super comfortable. We had no issues at all. If you like the idea of sleeping to the sound of the surf, this is the spot. I would love to come back.

Beautiful space! Mary was great responding to my questions. Very peaceful and clean condo. Bed was soft and cozy. Close to the beach. Went to Monterey and Santa Cruz with easy drives to both. Was just me but plenty of room for more with the two bedrooms. Very much enjoyed the deck and the view. Definitely recommend.

A Total "Distanced" Coastal Experience!

MeridithRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This has to be the nicest AirBnB experience we’ve ever had. The location was dreamy — couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. Easy access to pristine and nearly deserted beaches, lots of beautiful birds, a lovely nature trail around a pond. The condo was extremely well-stocked… we lacked for nothing! We explored Monterey and environs in the mornings and spent leisurely afternoons and early evenings on the beach. Already dreaming about coming back some day!

Gorgeous Ocean View 1 Bedroom Monterey Bay Condo

CatherineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Pajaro Dunes is a great little beach community to stay at. People are friendly and it is peaceful. The units are a bit dated but nothing unlivable, they are comfortable for hanging out by the beach. Stocked fairly well with what you need. Glassware was a little limited, so if you plan on drinking some descent wine you may want to bring your own glasses.
