Monthly Rentals in Lieutenant Island

The house was perfectly suited to our needs . The kitchen is supplied with anything one needs to make home-cooked meals. The living spaces are super comfortable ... not "too precious". Cate is a superb host... her attentiveness, good communication skills, and flexibility are stellar!

Absolutely wonderful. Great location, very private with nice beach access. Great to have access to kayaks! Nice close location too for going to places on the Cape! Right near bike trail. Not far from Wellfleet center.

This is our 5th Summer renting in Wellfleet and Matt's cozy home is perfect for our family of 4. This was our first time staying on Lt. Island, and we just loved it. You feel transported after you get over the little bridge into the quiet community with a unique marsh ecosystem & the up close & personal wildlife. Matt was more than accommodating and his home was inviting, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The family room upstairs is just spectacular with views of the marsh. We rented kayaks and paddle boards and went out at high tide all week. I convinced my 8 and 6 year old boys to jump into the water from the bridge and they had a blast. We and saw beautiful sunsets only steps away on the intimate beach. We had everything we needed, and felt Matt was eager for us to have a great stay. We will return! Thanks Matt!!

The location is private, quiet, and beautiful. Wellfleet is small, so the house is conveniently close to everything that you could want or need within the town. The walk from the property down to the bay is lovely and a great way to start the morning. The inside is exactly as described and very comfortable. The huge bed was SO great! Beth is a great host - she gave us easy instructions and was available if we had a question. Overall, the place is just fantastic!
