Vacation rentals in Lake Wawasee

Michele and Phil’s “The Villa Goshen” was a perfect location and provided all the amenities and space our family needed for our visit. The first night, a storm came through; a tornado warning was issued, sirens rang, and lightening hit right next to the house. Michele communicated during the whole event to make sure all of us were aware and stayed safe. Michele and Phil make this home both comforting and welcoming to their guests.

Had a wonderful stay! Scott was very quick to answer any questions I had, prior to arriving. He also reached out during our stay, just to check in/ask if we needed anything, which was very kind and thoughtful. The house is adorable and cozy! The entertainment/movie room was everything and made us want to duplicate the setup at our own house! We are local to the surrounding area and usually visit the area in the summer, but this was a perfect spot for our son's 10th winter birthday celebration! ❤️ PS - the trains didn't bother us! They are quick stints and we thought it was cool/fun to listen for their arrival!

LOVED it! Was there on a business trip in late winter, and wished it was for pleasure, and in a warmer month, so I could enjoy the lake it sits on, and get to relax while there. However, I was overwhelmed with prep for television and radio appearances and a live cooking show, so I only had the pleasure of using the AWESOME soaking tub to de-stress from super long hectic days, sleeping very well in oh-so-comfy bedding, and tossing together breakfast in a charming kitchen stocked with basics, as well as a well-stocked coffee bar. I thought the fresh creamer in the fridge was a nice touch, and I loved sitting at the kitchen table enjoying my coffee and the beautiful lake view. I hope to return some day -under less stressful circumstances- so I can get to enjoy all its outdoor amenities in warmer weather, too. I also want to mention that I felt very safe staying there alone (owners live next door) and the place is so cozy I felt like I was at home throughout my entire 3-day stay.

This is the second time we stayed at Serenity Cottage, Lake Of The Woods It is an ideal location for us because we have family in Bremen, Bourbon, and Plymouth. The setting is beautiful. We love the big open family area. The kitchen is lovely and we usually cook most of our meals so it is stocked well enough to do this. The owner lives next-door and checked in to make sure everything was OK. We will definitely stay here again.

I was only in for a short stay but it was a very pleasant stay. I can’t recommend this stay enough. Perfect for the price.

My family has been here before and it was during the summer and we loved it sooo much that we came back but this time it’s during spring, we definitely prefer going during the summer but we love this place so much!!! My kids love it ❤️ we loved using the grill and the paddle boats. Would definitely suggest it for families!

Kevin was a WONDERFUL HOST!! From booking till our departure, everything was excellent! The house is to say the least, gorgeous, relaxing, it was decorated for the Holiday so it was warm and inviting ! He had snacks, and drinks for us which was go king and helpful. We would love to stay again:)) He treated us so well very attentive to details, and made it a very seamless trip! Thank you Kevin!!

Wonderful place to stay at for the weekend! We had gloomy weather, so we weren’t able to enjoy getting outdoors, but it was so peaceful so we just curled up with a good book! Make sure you check out nearby Dygert Nature Preserve! There was a break in the rain and we made good use of it by stretching our legs on this short hike!

This house was perfect for our girl's trip to see a concert at the Blue Gate Inn. We walked right across the street from the house and ate dinner at the yummy Blue Gate Inn restaurant then walked the 1 mile walk all on sidewalks/safe to the concert. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend this house for a weekend getaway!
