House vacation rentals in Lafitte

My family travels to New Orleans quite frequently, and this is one of the top AirBNBs at which we have stayed. It was spacious and appeared just like the pictures on the website. It is in a great area of town, in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. It is also very close to two grocery stores. The pool was a nice addition and perfect for our 6 yo son. Michael and Marcia were communicative and we were appreciative that they let us check in early on our day of arrival. Would highly recommend a stay here.

If you are ok with something close to everything, but not in the middle of anything, then rent this place. It is lovely, Deborah was lovely. It was comfortable, it was easy, it was great place to spend the weekend. To be clear we were not there to party and did not want to be in middle of the French quarter. So if you are, then maybe this is not the right place for you. But we were never more than 10-15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go, and for us it was perfect.

Alleshia’s space was fantastic. We had such a great time and staying here helped shape the energy of the trip. Beds were super comfy and we appreciated the number of bathrooms. We loved laying out by the pool and being in a quiet walkable area. The toiletries provided were the cherry on top!

I had the bachelorette weekend of my dreams in NOLA at The Dragonfly Inn. The house is perfect and Lore is such an amazing host. I can’t wait to come back!

Great place! Big enough for a family of 5. The pool was a huge plus and the back patio was very quiet and peaceful. We were walking distance to plenty of restaurants, the two we visited were wonderful! Access to the Canal street buses and trolley were 3 blocks away and went straight to the French quarter.

This home was beautiful and spacious! The location was close to everything we wanted to do and the host was amazing and responsive! Everything about this place was spectacular!

Barry and Christopher were amazing hosts, and their guest house was perfect for our Jazz Fest trip. The spot is like an oasis: a peaceful, lush patio and cozy, comfortable accommodations. It had everything we needed. But as always, the hosts are the key to a fantastic experience, and Barry was so welcoming and warm. I strongly recommend their guest house, and we will come back for sure!

Cannot say enough good things about this stay. Stayed here with a group of girls reuniting from college and it was PERFECT! Best location too!

Karen was an amazing host. She responded to our needs very fast and was a pleasure. The house was very nice and comfortable and in a great place to walk to restaurants and the trolly.

My family and I enjoyed the rental. It was in a nice area. We were able to walk to the grocery store and hardly needed to drive since the trolly was super close by. Everything we needed was found in the kitchen. I was stoked when I found they provided an iron and extra blankets. We plan to stay again in the future.

We had 8 people in our family and we had plenty of room for everyone. The home was very clean and spacious and exactly as described. We felt safe with the wrought iron gate on the porch that closed as well as the 24 hr surveillance. We had a wonderful stay here.

We had 10 people for an intimate family reunion and the house was perfect for the occasion and need. We really enjoyed all the gathering spaces, the large dining table and dining outside in the backyard. The location is great if you plan on getting around by streetcars, there were 2 stops literally a few blocks away from the house. Parking is street parking but had no problem finding space in front of the house.

Fabulous stay in New Orleans. Looked exactly like the pictures. Great location - walkable to everything - in an adorable neighborhood.

We absolutely loved staying at Marcelin’s place! We knew there would be continental breakfast options but were blown away at what was actually there. We had plenty of space for our group of 7 and the space was beautiful. It’s about a mile walk to the St Charles Street Car and like 2 minute walk to 2 different bus stops. CVS and Walgreens are within 2 minutes walk as well.

It was an awesome place, clean,comfortable beds , well stocked and great location. I definitely plan on staying there again in the future !!!

We stayed at Charles’s home during the first weekend of Jazz Fest and it was the perfect location. Quick Uber rides to French Quarter.. pretty much anywhere you need to go. We did swamp and plantation tours as well and those were only about 25-30 mins from the location! Check in was easy and Charles was super responsive with our “recommendation questions” :) 5/5 stars, would recommend!

We had an incredible stay for a long weekend with six people. The house was perfect for our group and we loved the pool in the backyard. Communication with the host was seamless and clear. Really great location, walking distance to magazine and nice neighborhood. We highly recommend this spot!

This was a charming home in an industrial neighborhood. The neighborhood was quiet and I had no problem walking from the home to near by businesses. We brought a rental car and parking was easy. We loved being a few blocks from Magazine St. which was packed with local restaurants, cafes, bakeries and also Walgreens and Walmart near by for the essentials. I enjoyed visiting the reasonably priced massage spa several times throughout my trip, perfect for revitalizing my tired feet. Michelle had many wonderful suggestions for all sorts of things: rooftop bars, pools, hidden gems and even just perfect views in parks to check out. She really was a wonderful resource for finding the best the city had to offer! We did grab a couple eye masks as the rooms were a little bright in the mornings, so bring yours from home if that’s your thing. Not the most private interior but I was traveling with my bestie so that was no problem for us! Having the yard to use was also a huge plus! It’s a yes!

This was a great location for our family with 4 kids, plenty of space, even more spacious than the photos appear in ny opinion. Close to all the fun activities and the airport but not in the middle of the chaos of new orleans. Host was very communicative and accommodating. House was clean and just had to do dishes and towels before leaving. 10/10 would recommend or stay again.

Great overnight stay for a dance competition at the convention center. We basically only slept and showered there but all as clean and comfortable. I did wish check in had been available a little earlier but we worked around it.
