2 Bedroom in the Kona Hills on a Coffee Farm

AlexRating, 5 stars1 day ago
I gave a 5 star rating not just because I want it be nice to the host but because it is 100% deserved. 5 stars for flexibility as we booked for 4 as our son is an iron man athlete participating the World Championship. When our party grew to 7 and I asked Kendall for advice to find additional space nearby, he facilitated with extra matrasses and sheets to accommodate all. 5 stars for the view, the beautiful garden with different trees and the ocean on the horizon. 5 stars for the children who made a painting on the pavement for our athlete on the pavement the day before the race. 5 stars for being “invisible” but available when we had a question. 5 stars for the quiet location. 5 stars for the BBQ equipment on the veranda. 5 stars for your tourist tips as we e.g, booked a manta ray snorkeling trip and we found out that KendalI’s discount code saved us 30% Thank you Kendall, your family and your cat!

We stayed at Joes place for two weeks this October and really enjoyed this funky jungle house. The house was well equipped and perfect for a quiet get away. We loved all the books and personal touches. We would recommend this place if you like an off the beaten path fun and unique get away!

We loved our stay at Anna and Jordy’s place! Bright and clean, waking up to a beautiful view, it was a peaceful getaway! The bathroom and kitchen design are the most beautiful I have seen! It feels like you are living outside in the most perfect weather. What a great experience and so thankful to find this lovely spot.

Tamarra's Home was AMAZING!!! She is AMAZING!! We loved being there, we felt so incredibly comfortable. The couple things we needed, she did not hesitate to get for us. The house is big and so comfortable. Perfectly supplied for everything that you need for the beach trips. We had everything needed for cooking. Tamarra is so incredibly kind and caring. She made us all feel so welcomed and at home. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay and we absolutely will be back again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR FAMILIES, ESPECIALLY WITH LITTLE ONES. my toddler loved the animals.

Mermaid Studio by Kealakekua Bay!

PattyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My Mother and I loved our stay in Jill’s mermaid studio, it was a perfect fit and just what we needed. The space was comfortable and the furnishings were comfortable, nice, and clean. We loved the mermaid theme in and throughout the property. There’s great artwork in and around the space. Jill was available and helpful, we enjoyed connecting with her! There are some outdoor cats on the property that we loved seeing and they kept us company during our stay. The yard is immaculate and beautiful, a great place to take photos and create art! There were some mosquitos while we were there, but that’s to be expected in Hawaii and a little bug repellant kept them away! The Coqui frogs at night were enjoyable for us, they can be quite loud but we didn’t mind and didn’t hear them too bad in the studio. Very short walk to Manini beach for swimming, snorkeling, sunsets, paddle boarding or kayaking. Will definitely recommend to friends and book here in the future!

Kauai Wind & Waves Vacation Rental

We had a wonderful stay at Debra's. The beds were super comfortable and the location was central to our activities. It was a neat experience staying in one of the old (but updated ) plantation homes. Debra gave us a tip on an overlook that included the best time for viewing. And a review wouldn't be a review if we didn't mention our spectacular host and greeter Hoku! Thanks Debra and Hoku!

Lynn is a great host and her apartment is perfectly located in a tranquil setting. If you are looking for a quiet and well appointed apartment that is still close enough to drive to town, this is it. We used Lynn’s apartment as a base for the Kona Ironman. The location up the mountain allowed an escape from the hustle of town and respite from heat in the evenings. Perfect!

Small but sweet 1 BR apartment, walk to beach

XulinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It’s cozier and better decorated than the photos suggested. AC works well, wifi is reliable and kitchen is spotless. Also really appreciated the welcome gift bucket. Only downside is the shower- it doesn’t get as hot as a typical one, with the warmest temp being lukewarm at best

Amazing Central Waikiki Wonder

JazminRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My family and I had a great time staying here. It’s located in the middle of everything…. We have two toddlers and were able to walk everywhere for food, beach, shops, etc. we walked to Hilton lagoon and back, we also walked towards the Zoo and back and it was very much doable. It does suck that we had to pay $45 per day for parking but it’s Waikiki and everywhere is expensive lol. Anyways, the host Jasmine was very attentive and would reply back fast. Again, we have toddles so we had to check in earlier to rest and she was able to make that happen, which we appreciate so much! Overall, we would come back again. Mahalo 🤙

Suite Magic Sands Beach

DonnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is a beautiful and quiet location. Very close to beaches, shopping and good food. Room has great amenities and having the outdoor breezeway area for additional kitchen option, laundry facilities and swimming pool were excellent benefits as well. Having Cat, their kitty, greet us outside most days was wonderful too! You won’t regret choosing this location as your home away from home. It has everything you need as they are well stocked for beach trips or most any activity you want to take part in. We very much enjoyed our stay here!!

Cozy Retreat w/ Hot Tub on Historic Homestead

ChristopherRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I stayed here with a friend for another friend’s wedding at the Ahu Lani Sanctuary. The location was great for us as we were on the north side of Big Island most of the time. We did make several trips to Kona, Hilo, and places in between and I found it to be a great median locale for hitting different areas. The unit itself was very cleaned, very well stocked kitchen, bathroom amenities including a fantastic linen closet and has a lovely koi pond and great hot tub area with seating and a picturesque lower fire pit area and a nice size pond. Next time I’m on Big Island I’ll definitely be looking to see if this rental is available! Thanks again, mahalo! The on-site laundry was also really nice since we were on the rainy side of the island a lot. Sally was really flexible with us which we greatly appreciated since we did so much running around and had a lot of social engagements.

Hale I’0

JeanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Karen's place. It was a lovely apartment in a beautiful setting. The apartment was so tastefully decorated with everything you need - truly, she's thought of everything. The sunset views are stunning and we fell asleep to breezes and crickets and frogs and birds - we loved it! There are horses nearby, sweet little Daisy the dog visits and is just a love bug. It's also very convenient to the town of Kailua-Kona, Costco, and the highway so it worked out very well for us. You will love this place!

Jungle Haven at ReKindle Farm

SummerRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wonderful from start to finish. Staying at this cabin was the perfect combination of comfort and adventure. The beautiful, clean, well thought out aesthetic touches and details made me feel happy and serene. I’ve never seen so many spices to cook with at an airbnb and it was so nice to utilize them in the sweet outdoor kitchen. I already miss their dog Koda’s blue eyes looking up at me on the lanai as he rolled on his back for belly rubs. Loved taking a walk through the Jurassic Park like street to float in the mermaid ponds. Such a lovely family living in an inspiring, renewable way. If you love nature and all that comes with the ways of the jungle, you’ll be into this place.

Off-grid microhouse in the country

CorynnRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Gorgeous, private property, just like the pics. And T was an A+ host! I was worried it might be too small, but for one person it had everything I needed to sleep comfortably, make coffee in the morn, prepare simple meals, & the little patio is the perfect place to sit, even when it's raining. And it was clean! Not pristine, which is to be expected because it is still open to the elements. Dishes need to be washed outside, but there was no one in the other cabin during my stay so T let me use that kitchen to wash. Glass patio doors that lock made me feel plenty safe by myself. Outdoor commode was cute and clean. I didn't use the shower or bath (my partner was staying with family and I ended up spending more time with them than expected) but they are magical as well. Only warning, the road there is not paved or well maintained, & full of potholes, but my rental Kia Soul did fine. All in all, the rainforest experience I was hoping for! Thank you, T!!

Studio Ohana Cabin Retreat

EdithRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If you are looking for peaceful retreat between Hilo and Volcano National Park, this is a great place. Very comfortable and clean, like a small home with covered parking plus the lanai. I really enjoyed listening to the bird calls while having my morning coffee. While a bit off the main road, it only took about 10 minutes to get back to Hwy 11.

Secluded Bamboo Cabin on Sacred Healing Land

BobRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great experience and very friendly host and neighbors. This bamboo hut is welcome to everyone who wants a retreat or living far away from the network. There is even a sanctuary room for meditation. However, when i lived there, there was a hurricane. So it's kind of scary to hear the strong wind blowing the jungle and trees/leaves hitting the rooftop.

Charming log home on 2 acre rainforest property

AlyssaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a great escape from the bustling noises of Honolulu. We were looking for a rainforest cabin where we could wake up to the noises of coqui frogs and rain which this place delivered excellently. The amazing pieces of art and antique furniture made this place feel very unique. The host was very responsive and accommodating for any issues we had. 10/10 would recommend.

Banyan Bungalow

JacquelineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Happy place <3 Bonnie and Christophe have built something special here and each unit on the property has its own flavor. Down the street, you have creature comforts like trendy coffee but through Manta Soul gates, you're in a lush forest surrounded by sounds of coqui at night. Outdoor shower was a highlight. Bug spray, ponchos, beach towels etc are provided. Great access point to everything on the island. Think: one with nature, not stuffy hotel.
