Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Franklin County

Great house in a perfect location for a weekend trip to Sugarloaf! 5 minute drive from the mountain. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Some details that stood out to me about this stay were the charging stations in the primary bedroom for electronics, nice glassware (this makes a huge difference to me - the wine glass is just as important as the wine that goes in it). The beds were clean and comfortable and had nice linens. We enjoyed our stay here and would come back!

We love staying at the Brownie. It’s a great home for any active family that appreciates a quiet surrounding. Great home and so close to SR. It can’t be beat.

Had a great time staying here! There was so much space, everything was very comfy, loved the pool + ping pong + hot tub. The road getting up to the place is unpaved so we were concerned our 2WD car couldn’t make it up, but by the time we got back from skiing, the road had been plowed and sanded. The two minor downsides during my stay were the water (shower + sinks) occasionally smelled strongly of sulfur (?) but it wasn’t a big deal because the fridge had a filtered water dispenser. Also there is a requirement to not wear shoes in the house but the floors were dirty. No visible dirt but the floors definitely were not mopped. Very responsive host so I imagine if I complained about it something would have been done but it wasn’t actually a real issue.

Our stay at David’s ski and ski out home at Sugarloaf Mountain was a wonderful getaway. Everything was as expected, and David was super responsive to any questions we had.

The place was perfect! Kelly was a great host complete with alerting us to look out the window to see the northern lights! No complaints about her large comfortable home.

This was the second consecutive year we rented from Karen, like the first year the place was immaculate and set in such a serene area. The trails on site are always a favorite!

We enjoyed this stay very much. It was very conveniently located close to Sunday River, which made our skiing plans easy to execute. The hot tub was definitely a plus and the house easily accommodated our multiple adults, kids, and even a couple dogs.

My stay was in between two large snow storms, and Arthur had the driveway plowed for us, and checked in on us during the stay.

Great stay. Just as advertised. Kids loved the bunk beds and being able to ski to the lift right out the back door. Added bonus that the pool was in the same building. Overall just what we expected.

Two of my teenagers and I had a lovely stay at Kim's apartment. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed to prepare meals. We appreciated having our own space - I in the good-sized bedroom and the teenagers in the loft. We used the shuttle to get back and forth to the mountain, which was convenient. Overall, we had a great experience.

Visited sugarloaf during the day, easy drive back to Roses place! Clean, comfy beds. Open concept downstairs was perfect for hanging out

Amazing little condo, perfect for a family of four! I hope to stay there again next season!

Beautiful mountain cabin in a great location thats close to Sugarloaf and Saddleback mtn as well as atv/snowmobile trails.

Great little spot right in town. Super convenient for walking to shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the river, which made for a relaxing morning. Bonus: the very sweet cat, Lucy, who made the stay even cozier. Would definitely stay here again!
