It was one of the best air b and b experiences. Wonderful clean, well decorated home-like place. We felt at home there and not like we were renting air b and b. All amenities were really there, everything how described. Very sweet host. I don’t usually expect to find good shampoo and conditioner that I can use because I am very picky with this stuff and in this air b and b Casey provided really good bathroom hygiene necessities. Also, really great shower with hot water. We felt like we were relatives and weren’t renters but still had all the privacy that comes when renting. Highly recommend this place! Also gorgeous and peaceful backyard, with lots of blooming trees and nature, lots of birds singing outside, it felt like a retreat. 🌞

Raj’s place is a cute little cottage tucked back off the main road. It was super comfortable and clean. The inside is nice decorated and a bit of a surprise from the plain exterior. Raj is in the process of renovating an old motel and the cottage is the first to be completed- it will all be great when done but not what you might expect now at first glance today. Raj is rightly proud of the work being done. He is a super communicated with lots of area suggestions and helpful hints. The cottage had fresh flowers, fruit, and even cloth napkins. Really everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay.

This was my 6th stay at Sweet Caroline, so that alone should prove that I love staying here! It truly has become my Connecticut home away from home. Johnathon and Glorimar are wonderful hosts--very friendly and easy to get ahold of. As someone born and raised in Connecticut but a Californian since 1992, the location of the house is perfect for me. I would recommend it to anyone who may be experiencing the Connecticut shoreline for the first time. What really made this particular visit different was that I was here for a family funeral, and the fact that I had to come during the holiday season made this trip difficult. I was so surprised then when I entered the house and saw a beautiful Christmas tree all lit up to greet me. The house was also decorated with lights on the outside as well. This really boosted my spirits at an otherwise difficult time. Whenever I need a place to stay in Connecticut, this is where I always want to stay!
