Had a great stay at this unique place! Loved being able to just relax outside in the shade when we weren’t exploring the area.

Andrew’s place was exactly as described. It was a clean apartment and exactly as described. I love how close it is to downtown, the San Antonio Zoo, park and museum. This made our visit so convenient and enjoyable. We met our grandsons at the park near the zoo and took them to kiddie park. The apartment is close to 281 which will easily get you to north, south, east or west of town. Again, convenient! For those that like night life, you are blocks away from several local clubs. I liked that we were close to that but it didn’t affect our peaceful stay at all.

The hosts and this place is awesome! I will definitely stay here when I come back again. They had coffee and dish soap and extra things you may have forgotten. Loved it here!!!!

We loved our stay at this cozy little cottage. The location was amazing close to the highway. Sandra, the host, was very quick to respond to text and offer suggestions on places to go as well as where to eat nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Visits from Searge, the pup, made our day! I would highly recommend this cottage. Felt like home.

This is a great place to get away. The house had perfect amenities. The linens were extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The dipping pool was fabulous and perfect size. The location is ideal for all the things around town. Steve and Cindi was very sweet and easy to talk too. The only thing I could say is that the ac unit did not blow very well. Besides that, everything was great.

I wish I could rate this 10000/10 honestly, it was very spacious and very clean. The actual Airbnb was super nice and it has a lot of beautiful surroundings. The bed was super comfortable, I had absolutely no problems since all appliances worked, and it was the perfect getaway for a weekend. I do have to mention that I got the Airbnb so I can go to a concert in San Antonio and I knew this place was a bit far away, it was around 30-50 min away from the main attractions in San Antonio. But I do wish I was a little closer, that’s on me though, nothing wrong with the place or anything, it’s absolutely beautiful and I definitely recommend this, it’s worth the money spent, there’s a shared campfire and such beautiful views everywhere. I LOVED IT BUT IT WAS SO FAR AWAY FROM EVERYTHING which is also super good if u want that private space. I actually ended up leaving everyday around 1 pm mainly because my partner and I enjoy our own company a lot so we had no issue. I hope the rest enjoy!!

This stay was the best part of our visit to SA. While there were some amazing places to visit around; we always looked forward to getting back and relaxing. It is very private and peaceful; with tons of entertainment (pool, hot tub, hammock, and the cute, friendly chickens and cat). I absolutely recommend this place; and strongly consider coming back again. It was definitely worth the money.

Excellent separate new room great for one person

We found our stay peaceful and quiet, the house could not have been cleaner or more well appointed. Even though we had rented a huge vehicle, off street parking was available and appreciated. We enjoyed the adjoining private deck in the mornings with our coffee. The casita is located in a very pretty and safe residential neighborhood. This would be a nice airbnb where we would stay in future visits to see family.

Sweet little casita that's just 30 minutes from San Marcos and 5 minutes from downtown Gruene but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere because the land is so peaceful and serene. Had some deer and a fox visit us in the evening, and a family of deer hung out with us in the morning right outside the door. Highly recommend!

The time there was wonderful

What a perfect place for a couple of good friends to spend a great weekend in San Antonio! The Butterfly Cottage was cozy, quiet, and peaceful—just what two busy moms needed for a girls' getaway! Wade was super responsive, friendly, and a wonderful host. I loved sitting outside with my coffee, relaxing, and petting Wade and Vicki's love bug, Abby! It was a perfect weekend for me and my good friend. Thank you, Wade and Vicki!!

Loved this stay! Walking distance from so many things including my sons home and their kids. Great peaceful neighborhood. Hosts were super responsive and flexible with us. Definitely will stay again !

matches listing description. nice that there is parking in driveway for vehicle. we had all the essentials we needed but would have enjoyed some local recommendations (favorite restaurants, bars, etc). of note, no door to bedroom - this was fine for us but if you are sensitive to light or noise in the bedroom if one person was up, this may not be a great fit.

I highly recommend this space as it was clean, warm, convenient, peaceful and secluded with timely responses. I would come back here again and again!!
