My family and I felt right at home. It was absolutely as described. Very idyllic, quiet and as soon as the sun came out a dream to spend time outside. Anita was super sweet and even brought some cake. It was really great and this beautiful property was just a dream.

Jan is a wonderful host! We stayed for a month and felt right at home. My son especially loved the spacious garden with the trampoline, swing and also enjoyed the books, toys, and more. The location is perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close to the beach, the national park, grocery stores, and everything you need. We hope to return soon to relax, enjoy some BBQ, and soak up the sun. Thanks for everything! PS: Don’t forget to try the local beer!

Excellent stay. The Dutch are very welcoming and always gave us good advice and with a smile when we asked. The loan of the bikes allowed us to discover the place in a very pleasant way. The advice and instructions left in the house were always very relevant. We can only recommend discovering the surroundings as well. We were really delighted and it will remain an unforgettable memory... a little regret that our stay was so brief. Somewhere a very "zen" and natural stay, among calm, rather smiling and welcoming people. We loved it. A big thank you to both Florence and Willem! Danielle and Eric

A nature get away (dog friendly!)

CamillaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

We had a great time at Hans & Marian's. The location is perfect for discovering the flower fields area and enjoying the beach. Everything is accessible by bike, the beach 10min and the park of keukenhof 15min. We had two small children (3 and 6 years old) who loved the play areas in the holiday park and the games for the children present in the house. Communication with Hans & Marian was very friendly and very fluid. Thanks again for a great stay 😊
