Great place to stay, Frank is an amazing host and was always there whenever we needed.

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

Meine Familie und ich haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Es war absolut wie beschrieben. Sehr idyllisch, ruhig und sobald die Sonne raus kam ein Traum um draußen die Zeit zu verbringen. Anita war super lieb und hat sogar etwas Kuchen gebracht. Es war wirklich super und dieses wunderschöne Grundstück einfach ein Traum.

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at Maarten and Moon’s place. Their house is beautiful and event nicer in person than in the photos with a fully stocked, high spec kitchen, multiple hang out areas, and a lovely backyard. The neighborhood is amazingly vibrant and friendly with lots of young families and community events. Tons of great food options within walking distance and it’s a short distance from the city center. One of the best Airbnbs we’ve experienced.

Jan and Marissa were very welcoming and provided very detailed instructions prior to our arrival. A lovely comfortable house, very relaxing with plenty of space and comfortable furniture. It was light, and beautifully clean with a lovely shady garden. A quiet and safe neighbourhood- very pleasant to come back to at the end of a busy day. It is a 10 mins walk to the nearest bus stop which goes direct to the train station/town centre. The buses are really frequent. There is also a bus which takes you directly to the lovely town of Amersfoort. We also loved visiting Castle De Haar- a fairy tale castle, fully furnished with luxurious fittings and interesting owners. There is a well stocked local supermarket- about 15min walk and a fantastic delicatessen “ Olijfje” with fresh fruit and veg, hummus, olives, dips, freshly prepared each day. The owner is generous and friendly and gave us some free samples including delicious handmade chocolate,pistachio slagroom truffles.

MAGNIFIQUE 🤩 C’est le mots qui résume tout 😍 Le séjour chez Henri et Ricarda était magnifique avec une très belle énergie! La maison est superbe, l’emplacement est magique qu’il fasse beau ou pas on profite de l’intérieur comme de l’extérieur 👌🏼 Henri et Ricarda sont arrangent, réactif, et à l’écoute. Je recommande fortement si vous êtes de passage dans la région Encore Merci ☺️

Mein Freund, unser Vierbeiner und ich haben knappe 5 Tage in Berrie's Haus gewohnt. Es ist ein sehr schönes kleines Häuschen mit einem, größtenteils gepflasterten Garten. Die Sonne scheint richtig schön auf die Sitzecke im Garten und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Wohnzimmer ist heller und freundlicher als es auf den Fotos aussieht :) Der Strand ist in etwa einer Stunde zu Fuß erreichbar.. mit dem Auto dauert es nur knappe 20min. Die öffentliche Anbindung nach Amsterdam beinhaltet 15 Minuten Gehzeit zum Bahnhof und ca 40 Minuten mit der Bahn die einen direkt zum Hauptbahnhof bringt. Wer also eine ruhige schöne Gegend zwischen Amsterdam und Strand sucht ist hier genau richtig :) Wir können Berrie's Haus wärmstens empfehlen!

Beste Luis en Carla, We hebben zo genoten van ons verblijf in jullie prachtige woonst. Spijtig dat mijn man ziek werd en we jullie moesten vragen om wat langer kunnen blijven. Jullie hebben ons zo vriendelijk ontvangen en op voorhand alles duidelijk uitgelegd. We komen zeker nog eens terug als we in de buurt moeten zijn en een overnachting zoeken. Bedankt voor alles! Excellent séjour. Les Hollandaises et Hollandais sont très accueillants et nous ont toujours donné de bons conseils et avec le sourire lors de nos demandes. Le prêt des vélos nous a permis de découvrir l'endroit de façon très agréable. Les conseils et les instructions laissées dans la maison ont toujours été très pertinents. On ne peut que recommander de découvrir les alentours ainsi. Nous avons vraiment été enchantés et cela restera un souvenir inoubliable ... un peu des regrets que notre séjour ait été si bref. A quelque part un séjour très "zen" et nature, parmi des gens calmes, plutôt souriants et accueillants. On a adoré. Un grand merci à vous deux Florence et Willem ! Danielle et Eric

Quel bonheur d’être dans le logement de Mireille et Ben Logement impeccable et très bien équipé Cadre fantastique calme et reposant avec comme voisins les moutons, chevaux, poules. Au bord d’un lac Et quel plaisir de rencontrer Mireille et Ben des gens extraordinaires Toujours à chercher à faire plaisir Ben nous a fait découvrir les environs sur son bateau et a mis en marche le moulin en nous le faisant visiter. Un homme passionné De plus pas loin de la ville de Leiden 10 minutes en voiture qui est très belle Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir

Mabel has a beautiful house that is quiet even though the train station is right across the street. Everything was as described and Mabel was right there when we needed something. I can't recommend this house enough. Perfect size for 3 couples.

Die Ferienwohnung von Ineke ist absolut empfehlenswert: gemütlich, sehr gut ausgestattet, komfortable Möblierung und ruhig im hinteren Hofabschnitt gelegen. Es besteht die Möglichkeit Fahrräder geschützt unterzustellen und zu laden. Es gibt eine sehr schöne Terrasse mit Sitzmöbeln und Tisch. Die Gastgeber sind stets ansprechbar, hilfsbereit und äußerst freundlich. Tapuit war toll!

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

Es war eine super Unterkunft in toller Lage! Die Kommunikation war stets sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir waren mit wirklich allem sehr zufrieden.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i det skønneste område med en perfekt beliggenhed. Værterne var utrolig imødekommende og gav os mange gode tips, som gjorde vores tur endnu bedre. Huset var hyggeligt og rart at være i. Vi nød virkelig vores tid her og vil varmt anbefale stedet!
