The location was nice, it was a little hard to find for me because my gps said I arrived and I was down the hill in the middle of the road. But once I was able to find the home, it was really nice. I was greeted by this 95 pound dog that came over from the neighbors. It was a very nice surprise, he was the sweetest boy. I was sad I didn’t have treats for him. The home was exactly like the pictures. The gaming systems were so nostalgic and fun for us. The phone came with Netflix and Apple TV and overall really enjoyable. There were spiderwebs but I’m not sure if that’s just because of the location of the home. We woke up in the morning and found a spider in the bed, although alarming at first, they are harmless. Overall my partner and I loved the place, the proximity to town, and the seclusion.

A truly special place (the home) within a special place (the Caspar headlands, the Mendocino area more broadly). The incredible views of the wild coast can be enjoyed from bed, from the kitchen, dining room, and of course the back yard. The trails walkable from the house — the lighthouse trail to the South, the headlands trail to the North — feel special even by the standards of Mendocino headlands trails. House is very well equipped and comfortable. We’re looking forward to returning!

Our stay at Mediteranian Getaway was wonderful. It is in a beautiful, secluded location that takes you up some curves and hills - but that's part of the adventure! It is walking distance out the back door to a terrific hike on Fitch Mountain and the newly developed nature preserve with options for various difficulty levels. The living space is compact as advertised, and beautifully appointed, including a lovely large shower. The breakfasts out on the patio were a delicious added bonus. Everything we needed was provided. Kathryn and David made us feel comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful retreat center, from the well appointed kitchen to the spacious living room with wood burning fireplace to the cedar hot tub!

I can’t describe how cozy this place is. It fit right in with our vibe. One mile from the ocean. Turn table, lots of books, art supplies, coffee, wine and nice bathroom amenities. Nicely appointed art. I wish we lived closer so we could return soon. (We’re from the east coast). The bed and pillows were ridiculously comfortable. I feel truly lucky we found this place.

Nice and convenient to Harbin Hot springs. close to grocery and a few restaurants. Nice country area with great view of mountains and horses. Peaceful except for a bit of road noise, but it wasn't too bothersome. We would have appreciated some better quality bathroom towels, washcloths, more dishtowels etc. Jakob responded right away to questions about heater and lack of washcloths. He brought some wash cloths over with an hour. overall, very nice stay. Would recommend this place as good value.

Adele was an ideal host and the property is simply fabulous.

Our two night stay in Carolina’s lovely apartment was wonderful. It’s spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable, which made it a great place to relax after a day of activities. The house is perfectly located near to the ocean as well as to downtown where you can find shops and restaurants. The highlight was getting to enjoy the gorgeous sunset from the bedroom window each evening. We met Carolina one morning when she was watering her garden and had a nice conversation. She was kind and welcoming. We’d love to stay here again when we’re back in Mendocino.

The reviews say it all - this is a 5 star Airbnb perfect for rest and relaxation. John greeted us and was very friendly and responsive. The gardens are beautiful and we were lucky enough to get a clear sky at night which was incredible. The Airbnb is a short drive to the centre of Fort Bragg and around a 15 minute drive to Mendocino both of which are lovely seaside towns to wander around. I also booked in with Paul for a massage, who sorted my aching neck out caused by a few weeks travelling. He’s on the more expensive side but you get what you pay for and I’d highly recommend booking in with him if you are staying at here. It’s a great addition to an already fabulous Airbnb.
