Wayne National Forest - Athens Ranger District - Athens Unit cabins

The property & walking paths on this house are worth booking alone! The paths are so beautiful at night when the solar lights line the whole way! Even the nearby pond offered hours of entertainment for my kids. The bedrooms are large & the bed linens are wonderful after a long day of hiking. The kitchen is very well stocked too (found syrup, luckily). And to top it all off, you’re very near all of the best Hocking Hills hikes.

The home is as beautiful as the pictures. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. Thank you Mia for the smores!! The kids loved that added touch. We would have loved to explore the property and enjoy an evening bonfire but, it ended up cold & rainy until check out day. It did give us an opportunity to venture over to the Rock House cave before driving back to Indy which was 5 minutes from the house and worth the easy hike. We also went to a little spot called LJ's Ice Cream & Pizza for Milkshakes and wings, my son loved the wings so much we had to stop and order 40 wings to take home =).

Enjoyed this lovely cabin very much. Host is extremely helpful and very responsive.

We arrived on a super foggy night and had trouble finding the driveway - the host was so kind and helped us navigate the area (which is hard to do when you have no service and can’t see LOL)! It was such a peaceful stay. The home was even more beautiful in person! Close enough to the caves and hiking trails. The hot tub was a fun bonus! We would totally stay here again!

Perfect girls weekend getaway! Kevin was a wonderful host and very responsive. Very clean, and peaceful. Location was great. I do recommend making sure you have all the groceries you need for your trip when you arrive at the home because the grocery store is a bit of a hike for us city girls :) Walmart worked well for us as it has the most options. I highly recommend this home!!

I took my girlfriend here to get engaged at hocking hills and they made this a core part in our memory! It was honestly the best vacation I’ve ever had!! They made everything so easy and it was truly perfect! Thank you again we appreciate you!

The house was clean and conviently located. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. We were on a tight budget so it met our needs.

We loved this house. My kids entertained themselves for hours with the pool table, arcade games and jacuzzi. The fire pit was nice to roast marshmallows and relax around. The only thing we could really have a problem with, was the beds had plastic mattress covers under the sheets which made for sweaty, slightly uncomfortable sleeping. ( but we totally understand why they would have them on the mattresses)

Casita del sol was a wonderful place to stay. The home was impeccably clean and included many games and activities inside and out. Some of our favorites included air hockey, ping pong, bop it, jigsaw puzzles, connect 4, and jenga. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub to start the day, grabbing breakfast at local coffee shops, and walking the kayaks to the lake for a mid-day adventure. The hosts were thorough and thoughtful. They made sure the home had all the essentials, but also wonderful touches like extra toothbrushes, snacks, and homemade treats for humans and fur-babies! The guidebook and binder of manuals were organized and easy to follow. Tastefully placed notes throughout the home clearly communicated details like where to find extra trash bags. We are so glad we stayed at Casita del sol and hope to stay there again Im the future!

Me and my family had the best time in Corning. The location is just as describe. Jason and JJ were very accommodating and responded promptly if we had questions. We look forward to going back.

We arrived to a pristinely clean home with everything we needed for our stay including all kitchen items and extra towels. The host was very responsive when we had questions prior to arrival which was very helpful. The entire home was adorably and thoughtfully decorated. We had wished the hot tub was covered due to the rain we encountered, but we were able to catch a spot or two without rain to hop in. Also, the minimal checkout cleaning list was much appreciated as we were moms attempting to get away from those responsibilities for a bit. We had a wonderful weekend and would book this location again should we choose to revisit the area.

We had a great time at Leslie‘s! There was plenty of room for everybody in the house. Felt like a step back in time staying at grandma‘s house. It was nice and neat and clean.
