The Ffarm Flat at Ffarm Country House

KévinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place was very enjoyable to stay in, extremely clean when I arrived. The host was very helpful and explained everything very clearly on arrival. Everything you’d need to stay for a few days is provided by the host and in a really good state. Very little small downside is that the bathroom was very cold during my stay but that was nothing I couldn’t get past looking at how great the rest was! Highly recommended !

The Towers (Sleeps 20) a harbourmaster's villa.

JaneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A welcoming home right beside the sea which easily absorbed all 16 of us. Amazing views! It’s easy to walk directly from The Towers - along the prom, on the beach at low tide, to the local nature reserve without getting in your car. There are two excellent cafes less than 100 yards away, three takeaways just up the hill and a Co-op and a Nisa convenience store about 10 minutes’ walk away. You could arrive by train and not even bring your car! We had members of 5 families staying with us and we never felt cramped. Thanks for a memorable week!

Church House is a taste of English heaven-- and the hosts are wonderful! We reserved and paid for two separate rooms to accommodate our group of three, and this stay was worth every British pound! If only we could have stayed longer....

Welsh Gatehouse: Luxury 13th Century Medieval Home

LizzieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This is a quiet and cozy spot with a fireplace, comfortable bed, and lots of light. Really stunning while leaves changed color and a close drive to Wye Valley walks. I was worried about being cold, but heating is exceptional and not needed if you light a fire. Furniture and appliances (couch, shower, pillows) feel like they haven't been updated in many years, but it makes for a comfortable stay where you have almost everything you need. I rather enjoyed having the nostalgia of a DVD player with many provided options to cozy up and watch each night. Note, the kitchen does not supply frying pans/spatulas (but many sauce pans and other cooking items!) so I would recommend scouting what's available before buying groceries. I'll definitely return as it was a special place to stay and I felt lucky to stay there!

Medieval Manor! w/ Historic Village, Castle & Pub

HollyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This has got to be one of the best air bnb’s that I have stayed in. We rented the manor for our friend’s Shrek themed Hen party and the accommodation did not disappoint. The photos are so accurate, comfortable beds, unique surroundings, great hot tub. The hosts are very accommodating, great at communicating, kindly set out extra beds for us and even gave us some tips on things that were going on locally that weekend!

Stay in a Stately Home 3

NickyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Just returned from a 3 night stay at Llanerchydol Hall in Welshpool. What a wonderful find - staying in a quirky stately home surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside. Lovely hosts who are doing up the place bit by bit (the parts that are let out are perfectly done up!) with an interesting philosophy on life.

Characterful town house within the castle walls

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very central location, short walk to city walls and shops, pubs etc. 24 hour parking can be paid for by card and is £7.20. We didn't have any problems finding a space. We enjoyed our stay. Worth noting that the washing machine is in a small out building in the back yard. The same building also has a toilet which is handy if the bathroom in the house is occupied. The shower was fine although not especially powerful. There was a sign saying there was a fire extinguisher under the stairs although the door to that space was padlocked. I'm sure if I'd queried it a key would have been made available. Apps available on Smart TV through which you can watch programmes live or on demand. We tried to get a signal using the portable aerial provided but the channel guide wasn't picking up any signal. We visited Zip World in Penrhyn Quarry and Snowdonia Donkeys both of which are 25-30 minutes drive away. All in all a pleasant stay in the heart of Conwy.

19th Century Castle Gate Lodge

MichelleRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The property lived up to its description which made it a unique experience for my husband’s special birthday. I wanted something different which is exactly what we got, the building has been tastefully restored to stay in keeping of its history yet with a few modern touches to make it a comfortable stay. We took advantage of the discount to visit Gwrych Castle which is highly recommended, to see the vast amount of work they have done and intend to do in the future is astounding. We also loved the woodland walk, in addition to exploring the caves exclusive to the property.

2 bed stone built terrace, opposite C13th Castle

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful cottage with amazing views of the castle and beyond. Perfect for our autumn break as a family of 3. Lovely welcome pack of prosecco and coffee (local good stuff!). Great to have staples like tea, oil, foil, washing up liquid, shampoo, soap etc . The bedrooms were thoughtfully furnished with places for the "little bits" , the kitchen is bigger than the photos suggest. Space for shoes and coats was appreciated. We spent several hours playing scrabble and monopoly (toddler toys were available too). The castle (closed Tuesday and Wednesday and after a quick Google to check, is also closed from November to end of March) was definitely worth a visit! Parking was easy enough. A cottage run with care and attention as the guestbook testifies.
