Vacation rentals in Vaca Key

We stayed for 11 nights at Wendy's beautiful home. We had everything we needed for our entire stay. The area is very quiet and peaceful. It was so lovely walking up on the water and enjoying breakfast outside. Extra touches like having bikes and kayaks to use were also sooo nice! Wendy was very helpful with local spots to check out as well. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful home on canal that opens up to gulf. The home had everything that was described and was comfortable with AC. Cannot think of anything we needed that was not there. Terrific views from balcony. Saw lots of wildlife including manatees and the iguanas were fun to watch. There was a double and a single kayak to use as well as bikes to get around as the traffic was busy. There are close neighbors next door but they were quiet. If you want a place to relax, this fits the bill.

Perfect! 5 stars all the way! Definitely the best airbnb we have stayed in. We had a lovely family vacation with grandparents and a kid. The Lucky Lobster house was easy to find and get in. The place was extremely clean and well furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Beds were comfortable. Bedrooms had plenty of space and storage to unpack. The pool is heated and was great for our 7 year old. There were plenty of chairs at the beach/pool, kayaks, SUP for all the guests. We never had to wait. We fished off the dock with a couple provided fishing rods and caught a few fish each day. Two bikes are provided also with the paved path just outside the gate. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. Great location to access places N or S in the keys. Easy walk to a few restaurants down the street. Grocery store was just minutes down the rd. Doug & Mary provided very clear instructions and had lots of helpful local recommendations. Thank you for the stay!

Everything was exactly as pictured plus a few amenities that we didn’t expect! Beautiful place, well-appointed kitchen. The construction across the street was a little loud in the mornings but hopefully will be completed soon.

We enjoyed our stay in Marathon at Brian’s place! It was just as described. We enjoyed spending afternoons at the pool and our evenings on the back porch. Would recommend his place and we would stay again.

Beautiful views and great spaces! We’ve stayed in Marathon several times in different canal houses with our family of 7, and this property is now our new favorite. We couldn’t get enough of all the beautiful views from sunrise to sunset whether it was on the porch, in the pool, or out by the Tiki Hut. Every bedroom has water views as well. Boat access was an easy out to snorkeling, diving, fishing, or whatever you like to do. There are two kayaks for use, which made for some nice outings to explore the immediate area. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and even had an extra under-the-counter ice machine. We had a great time here, and would stay again. Thank you to the owners for sharing your property.

Alfonso is a very responsive host who provided clear details, local recommendations (multiple of which we used), and provided a place in a great location. Neighbors are friendly. Place was clean. Perfect for our family with a 14 and 6 year old.

Every year our family vacations somewhere different in Florida. We all agreed that after 7 years of renting large pool homes, this was the best. The pool area is enormous, with different seating arrangements. There is a barbecue area with a dining table and chairs. Kayaks and stand up paddle boards are gratis and my 10 year old grandson learned to cast properly and catch fish right off the private dock. There is a second covered deck off the main floor where we spent many restful hours. There are many things to do in the area. Crane Point Hammock, Bahia Honda State Park and the Florida Keys Aquarium were enjoyed by all! Coco Plum Key is located almost midway between Key Largo and Key West, so there's something to do for all ages. This house is smack dab on the water with beautiful sunsets and if you're lucky you'll spot dolphins and manatees swimming by. Enjoy this special place!

We had such an incredible week at The Sandcastle Suite! Our host Ganit was amazing! She checked up on us periodically and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The condo was so cozy and had a large “smart” washer, and dryer, which was very helpful as we packed light! We used the kayaks, bikes, fishing rods, ate downstairs at picnic table, turned on festival lights at nighttime, and even used the bbq grills by the pool several times. The location was prime!!! A few minutes from Sombrero beach, across the street from Walgreens, the dollar store, the bagel shop and the best Italian pizza food truck. Ganit made several recommendations for wonderful restaurants and places to visit! It was only an hour to Key West so we made a day trip there and 45 minutes to Islamorada. This place was truly an escape to paradise and has everything you need and more for a wonderful, memorable trip with friends and family. We can’t wait to go back!
