Lake cabins in Truman Reservoir

It was comfortable. We dug into the DVD collection a bit, had a great time swimming on the lake, the neighbors cut down a tree and kept our bonfire loaded with wood. Everyone is friendly and neighborly, and we really love this little quiet nook on the water.

We were there visiting family and friends. The cabin was a perfect place for us to stay and be close to everything we needed and wanted to do.

Sal was very responsive with my messages from the start! He never made me feel as if I was a bother when I had questions and he gave pretty clear instructions on his page before we got there about the rules, instructions for the house and where everything was. when we got there it was very clean and had everything you need besides a washer and dryer. he even contacted me day of with additional instructions and had restaurants and site sees listed for you in the cabin. He filt the fridge with waters and left coffee, creamers and sugars for us. My best friend and I rented the cabin for the weekend for my birthday and I don't regret it. The only down side was our trip was for fishing, and most of the bodies of water were to rocky in the area due to low water levels, too many ppl or too much wind which Sal was not responsible for lol. All in all I would rent it again or recommend anyone to his cabin that will be staying in the area!

William's stay was very cozy! It looked just like the pictures. We had a little trouble finding it, but the people in the town were very friendly and helped us locate it. It was clean and it was comfortable. It had everything we needed for a quick stay. William was quick to respond on this last minute reservation. I really appreciated that. The bar next door has really good food and the people there are very friendly also. I would recommend this place!

House was wonderful for 7 friends and myself. We take a yearly fishing trip to the area and was able to fit 4 boats and trucks in the driveway. It was a little tight getting in and out but the two entry driveway made it easier. Will be booking this place again next year! Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location was stellar — close to everything we needed for fishing and hiking Bennet Spring, yet peaceful and relaxing. The home itself was lovely, beautifully maintained, and offered excellent accommodations that made us feel right at home. Communication was seamless with quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and would love to return!

It was a great place to stay, everything that was advertised . Had a great time and good balance of getting away from the busy life. Country living with wifi if neeefed. It provided a good time and I’ll be looking to try to book this place again

This was exactly what my family and I were looking for! The view was breathtaking, and it was a much needed break from life in the city. Jason provided very clear instructions, and it made our check-in very smooth (which was so helpful after 9 hours on the road, and it being so late when we arrived). The kids loved the room with the bunk beds, and the outdoor patio was beautiful. Everyone had a great time, and my kids already asked to go back during the summer time. Luckily, the weather was kind to us and we were able to spend so much time outdoors. Thank you, Jason! :)

Had a couple of issues during the stay, however Maria and her husband Zane were very responsive and made sure that we were taken care of. We were previous owners of the property. Zane and Maria have made many upgrades to the property in the last five years. If you stay during the week you will have beautiful calm water and a peaceful stay. Weekends get a little bit busier on the water, but still very nice. If you stay over a holiday weekend, or the Shootout weekend it gets a little rough on the water. Coconuts is within walking distance. A little pricey, and a little hectic on weekends (in season). However, there are plenty of good dinning options within a 20 to 30 minute drive, and shorter by water. Thanks to Zane and Maria for providing a great experience.

Shawn’s place was exactly like it was pictured on the listing! Quiet cove and well cleaned. The location was fairly close to everything we needed (no more than 15-20 mins). The beds were all very comfortable. We had an issue with the thermostat and he sent someone out immediately (on a Sunday!) and it was resolved. The house had everything we needed to cook for a large group all week long. Overall our stay was great.

The house was exactly as listed and the slip worked perfectly for our boat. Beds were very comfortable and the house had all the amenities and then some. Grocery store is only 7min away and we were able to grill out on the deck. Watching the sunrise every morning was amazing! The dogs really enjoyed their walks in the quiet neighborhood. The dead end road on cedar point had little to no traffic. Everyone had a wonderful time! We would definitely stay again!! What a lovely spot on the lake!

We had a great time! The house was clean and comfortable. Be sure to read the directions on how to find the house. The driveway was a little tricky to find, but the directions in the profile were very clear.

Brad was very nice and responsive! All of my questions were answered almost immediately. The house is exactly as pictured & described! Very clean and so much fun!

It looks like a tiny home but there is a lot of space. You do have to climb a ladder to go upstairs but it is a large area with two beds. Downstairs there is another bed and sofa bed. The beds we used were very comfortable. It's a quiet street off the main highway with very little traffic. We will be back!

Michael’s house was perfect for our group. Great location, views, and hospitality. Highly recommend!

This lake house had stunning views of the Lake of the Ozarks. It was very close to Margaritaville and my kids enjoyed Jolly Mon indoor waterpark. The house was also near additional entertainment including go-kart venues that my family enjoyed. The place was clean, and was perfect for my family of four and dog. We enjoyed walks on the trails in the morning. We would definitely consider staying here again during our next visit.

This place was functional for what we needed for a week long stay. The host was very responsive and ready to go above and beyond for us to have a comfortable stay. We may be returning next year!

Excellent place to stay. The little amenities provided were above and beyond. Just to name a few- fully stocked coffee bar, full selection of body soap, shampoos, climate control for each bedroom and the living room, washer/dryer, outdoor grill, basic spices and oils for cooking, plenty of blankets, pillows, etc. There wasn’t one thing we needed that we did not have. Would be happy to stay again.

This home is in a beautiful quiet and private area. If you are looking for a weekend getaway this is a great place to go! Just one thing to keep in mind, you may have to drive 20-40 minutes to some things like restaurants or a store, but it’s worth it for how nice and peaceful the property is. The home was easily accessible for check in, and felt like home.
