Monthly Rentals in Truckee

The house exceeded our expectations and fit our family of five well. There were toys, books, and coloring supplies to keep the kids busy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Great location. We would stay here again.

This A-frame is a beautiful cozy cabin, perfect for a family of 4. Kitchen, even though small, was fully stocked. Waffle-maker was a nice surprise; kids loved waffle breakfast in the morning. The bedrooms upstairs were comfortable. The WiFi is superfast- we had multiple streaming devices and my wife taking office zoom calls at the same time. We loved the neighborhood. Soda springs, Sugar Bowl and some other ski resorts are within 10 minutes of driving distance. There is sled area walkable distance from the cabin. Finally, the host, Steven, is super nice. He is easy to communicate with. We’d love to come back to this cabin next season,

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of details that make it feel like a high-quality retreat, especially for families. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—much better than most rentals—and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The cabin stayed warm overnight even without turning on the heat, and the WiFi was reliable enough for a work video call. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. One thing to note for families with young kids: I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers, as the stairs are steep and the heater is floor-mounted. Fortunately, our child was old enough for it not to be an issue. A small tip: the melamine plates are very cute, but not microwave-safe—learned that the hard way! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I stayed for nearly 2 months and loved every minute of it. Great for working remotely with strong WiFi and working spaces, or a place to call home after a day on slopes with a glass of wine by the fire place while watching the beautiful sunset across the mountains. Highly recommend!
