Places to stay in Tower

Aubrey was very responsive. My husband left his favorite shirt and Aubrey responded to his message immediately and said she would have his shirt sent to him. The house was in a perfect location, within walking distance to all the bar, shops and restaurants. It is a super cute and clean house and the fenced in backyard worked great for our dogs.

This house was great for exploring the voyageurs region. The community is very friendly. The house was as described and we loved the historic home with great updates. There were 5 of us and it was the perfect size. Some reviews mentioned the noise from the trains, but none of our group found them to be a problem. We battled mosquitoes quite a bit (even a few in the house), but apparently this is one of the worst years for mosquitos and we hit it in their prime season.

Absolutely lovely and we felt very comfortable. The entire place was incredibly clean and organized. Great location in town and quiet and peaceful at night. Directions and instructions were clear and precise. Excellent Airbnb!

This was a peaceful place to relax after our event. The birdsong was wonderful! I counted 20+ different birds happily chirping away while sitting on the sturdy deck swing. The house was spacious and welcoming. The bedrooms were just the right size and the beds had thick, comfortable mattresses. Kitchen was well laid out and had everything we could have asked for. Heather was a great host, giving friendly advice and weather. I would definitely recommend and would happily stay here again some day! Thank-you Heather for an awesome place to stay, it was just what we were looking for. Oh, and there is a handy little store right next door, you can take the path over to without ever going on the road. Ice cream, frozen pizzas and treats, even some small books and local gifts. Very friendly staff too.

A wonderful stay! Stephanie was great with communication. The house was cute and clean. We had all we needed there. We may come back in the warm months. The snow, landscape, wildlife, and dog sledding was all great in the area. Lots to do within 30 minutes of Ely. We loved our stay!

Nice place, great location in the middle of town.

We used the space primarily as for sleeping and place to get cleaned up after/before each day. We have family in town without room to house everyone. So our needs may not be the same thing others are seeking. The kitchen itself is adequate and the large fridge freezer would meet most families needs for storage. There was a lower level window AC that cooled that level nicely. The upstairs was a little more stuffy, but with windows open and a box fan running, it cooled down nicely for sleeping. The bedrooms were good sized and having 2 bathrooms with a tub/shower and a shower met our needs for a place to sleep, clean up. The location just a block off the main road provides easy walking access to shops and restaurants. That would be very attractive to many people. For people wanting the full stay experience with meals and leisure time the place would meet their needs. Would definitely recommend this place for the location and pricing. Suzanne was a good and gracious host!

Repeat visitor and the reason we come back is we love the Harvey House. Cute, clean, comfortable, convenient private parking, and conveniently located to walk to theater, shops, bars, coffee shop, and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay - it was very relaxing, and we can't wait to come again. Hosts were communicative and helpful.

We had a wonderful getaway! Beautiful location with a stunning view of Lake Superior! Made us want to live in a “little house” - so cozy and comfortable! Would highly recommend! Some road noise, but this didn’t bother us. Hard to avoid along the North Shore off of Highway 61.
