Cottage vacation rentals in Thomasville

I am a repeat renter. This is my first choice of places to stay when in Tallahassee. The cottage is absolutely perfect for a peaceful spot but close to everything you need to access in Tallahassee. This is a must stay!

Amazing host!! Super friendly and truly amazing people!! So very relaxing especially with all the animals being around. The puppy dog Birdie gives great greatings and super nice hugs!!! We will definitely be back for a longer stay. Amazing little town with so cool antique shops and yummy restaurants!! The drive to Thomasville, Ga was short and that town was full of fun stuff to look at!!

This place was absolutely amazing! We wished we had stayed more than a weekend! The house was super clean, the lake view and back area was incredible, and the community itself was super cool! We fished all weekend and caught a bunch of fish. They don’t list this but they have 2 kayaks for you to use too! We’ve stayed in MANY airbnbs over the years and I’ve never seen them stock drinks and snacks so we thought that was a nice touch too!! Loved this place!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Southland Cottage. Mindy’s place was clean, in a great location and was stocked with everything you might need. Mindy was very responsive and helpful. We loved the town and the people were very friendly.

Alisha and Larry are wonderful hosts with a beautiful cottage home. They provide all the necessary amenities with clear instructions. When you walk in you feel right at home. Communication with reservations, follow up, check in and out instructions clearly outlined, questions and welcome note were timely and friendly. We were in town for the FSU Homecoming weekend and their location is convenient to everywhere we needed to be. Thanks Alisha and Larry for a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Tallahassee. I would highly recommend their home and their hospitality.

Norma's place was perfect for our weekend visit. She had welcome snacks and coffee. Comfortable beds and couches. She communicated well ahead of time with check in and check out instructions. Will likely stay again!

It was a very nice, neat and clean 1 bedroom bungalow with plenty of room and more amenities than I needed for a two night stay. Nice bathroom & shower. Everything was in working order and comfortable. The arrival instructions were correct. The cell service is not great in the area. So using WiFi is helpful.

We had a couple of people that needed to come and stay a few nights that was unexpected. Norma accepted the change with no up-charge and even brought over some new linens for our blowup mattress. When I text her she always responded very quickly, professionally and kind. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice cottage in the area.

What a beautiful gem in SW Georgia around 7 miles from downtown Thomasville. This lakeside cottage is the perfect place to unwind and relax from the stresses of every living. The view from the screened back porch and/or sunroom is incredible and never grows old. The kitchen is well-stocked with anything you could need for cooking. Very comfortable beds with room darkening shades in all rooms. That’s the place and surroundings; then there’s the host. Teresa is the best host we have ever had in 11years of Airbnbing. She is kind, generous and very proactive. Any problems would be quickly taken care of. Thomasville is a charming small town with great shopping and dining. Sass and Jonah’s Fish and Grits can’t be missed! Highly recommend Teresa’s place; you will never forget your time spent there!

This is our second time staying at Fern Leaf Cottage, and it did not disappoint. Stan is a great host and the amenities of the cottage are perfect. From the relaxing atmosphere, to the provided snacks, coffee, water and drinks p, all we needed for a much needed getaway was provided. Wonderful area for entertainment and dining out. A truely enjoyable experience from start to finish.

The cottage was just right for a weekend retreat. Very clean, comfy beds, the kitchen had everything I need to prepare some simple meals there. The rustic, old vibes were very charming. Loved the high ceilings. Enjoyed sitting on the porch as well. Ashley was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

One of may favorite stays ever. This place is booming with nature! Owls singing at dusk, tons of frogs singing at night, hummingbirds in the morning and many fish to catch in the pond. Was treated to the sight of a shy, baby gator meandering along the shoreline late afternoons. Ann has thought of everything here. Every little detail is covered, especially if you have forgotten anything to bring with you. The duck/chicken eggs were a nice surprise (which I totally forgot to take with me 😥) and she even had some delicious homemade chocolate pecan bars sitting on the counter for me upon my arrival! (chef's kiss). Such an amazing cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Book it!

This was a great place to stay! it looked just like the pictures, but what I didn't expect was how comfortable it was. It was an all-around. great trip. Part of that was because of the awesome place that we were staying in. It's close to downtown. It's quiet, peaceful and very comfortable. We hope it will be available the next time we decide to go there.

The location was perfect for our fur babies that accompanied us on our trip, very cozy place and felt right at home! We appreciated the small details and the home had everything we needed during our stay! Will definitely recommend and book again to stay on our next trip to Monticello!

We were visiting for the T’Giving holidays, and everything about the plantation and the home felt festive & welcoming. Amy greeted us upon our arrival and even helped to carry our things into the cottage. The cottage was very clean, tidy and comfortable with an added touch of fresh flowers. One of the highlights was bringing our two year old granddaughter to visit and pet the many farm animals, including the lemurs and kangaroos. As hosts, Erik and Amy went above and beyond to make us feel welcome…treating us to speciality coffee at the local café, offering suggestions for restaurants and giving us a tour of their newly-renovated historic Airbnb in downtown Monticello. Would highly recommend staying here and we look forward to return visit.

We 100% recommend this property! Private setting, quiet & peaceful. The house was just as described, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Shower had great water pressure & very hot water. Bed, linens and pillows were very nice & comfortable. The charcuterie board was delicious & well worth the cost…enough for 2 adults for 2-3 days of grazing!

We will definitely stay here again. The location was was great. The home was clean and had everthing you might need. Very relaxing.
