Stayed with my family and two other families. Wonderful home—easy beach access. Kayaks and beach chairs made the stay extra fun. Walkable to the lighthouse. Very peaceful and wonderful amenities. Would definitely stay again! Door county was also really cute—great little towns and fun places to explore.

Secluded Scandanavian Cabin In Sister Bay

This home was the perfect place to stay in Door County! Close to the surrounding towns, yet far enough out for some peace and quiet. The property was beautiful, the home is cozy, super clean, and kid friendly. We loved exploring the wooded lot, reading, spending time together, and playing the board games provided while hanging out in the sunroom. 5 stars all the way!

The Lake Cabin with Disc Golf

KellieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our stay was amazing, and we're already talking about going back. The property was beautiful with so much to do. We played a little frisbee golf, did some fishing and relaxing. We especially loved playing Cornhole. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We were especially pleased when we saw they had an air fryer. We've used Airbnb a few times, either booking ourselves or with friends... this is by far the nicest property and the lowest cost. On top of that, they requested 2 things be cleaned before we left, unlike a page full of rules and regulations we've seen at a lot of other places. JoAnn and Mark were absolutely wonderful. They took time out of their day to show us around the disc golf course on day 2. They also let us use one of their golf carts. I can't say enough good about this property :)

Your guide to Sturgeon Bay

All About Sturgeon Bay

Just 45 minutes northwest of Green Bay and the largest city on the Door Peninsula in eastern Wisconsin, the city of Sturgeon Bay is a busy shipping corridor. The historic Sturgeon Bay Bridge, known locally as Michigan Street Bridge, was once the only link between the mainland and northern Door County. Now on the National Register of Historic Places, the bridge no longer goes all the way across, but you can walk most of it and take in views of the ships sailing by. Today, the Oregon Street Bridge and Bay View Bridge cross the bay and make for fun walks, runs, or cycle rides.

Sturgeon Bay has many parks, of which Sunset Park is the largest. Potawatomi State Park lies at the edge of the city and is named in honor of the Native American tribe who inhabited these shores. You’ll find biking and hiking trails throughout the park, including the 2.8-mile eastern trailhead of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail with interesting glacial characteristics. No visit to Sturgeon Bay is complete without a visit to historic Third Avenue, with its shops, shipbuilders, museums, art galleries, and restaurants where locally caught bass is always on the menu. Consider taking the city’s self-guided historic walk to discover it all.
