The place was beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing. It is an adorable farmhouse and very welcoming. It is near I-20, so it’s easy to get to restaurants and other things in the area.

Our stay was very relaxing, just what was needed during spring break and a getaway from all the turmoil. There is adequate cell coverage (T-Mobile, allowed for calls when needed.) There is no seperate wi-fi service but that is a refreshing plus. There is Dish TV if you really have to tune in to the talking-heads telling us how bad things are. Or, you can relax, read by the river; bring a guitar 'n make music on deck or in a screened room. OH! Chalk paintings on the driveway! :) Fun stuff. Kayaks are also available. Tours of the bayou and lake available, we used Aaron of Mystic Tours and had a great time. Keith has the number available in a large binder that with history of the area (a very good read if you take the time, for instance: Steamboats used to ply the waters through to Jefferson). There is also a photo album of the house construction that is pretty cool to thumb through. It is about a 30 minute drive to historic Jefferson which is a nice day trip.

It's a great place. We loved the kayaks and canoes, but beware—go upstream first! The outside deck was fantastic for morning coffee and evening stargazing, but it needs a bit of maintenance. The little store in Uncertain is great in a grumpy, friendly kind of way. We had to pick up some coffee pods and returned for a brisket lunch. The bathrooms are clean, with great water pressure, instant hot water, and wonderfully refreshing. The kitchen was also clean and usable, although we just made some boiled eggs.

Barbara was a great host! The house is exactly as described! We can’t wait to return!

I really had a great stay the host was great loved the gated property didnt have to take my things out of my boat. Will definitely look them up again. If u need a quite get away definitely recommend this airbnb close to cross lake and very clean.

Great price for an absolutely gorgeous getaway. The view off the back deck was breathtaking and we spent every minute we could sitting down on the dock by the water. Great bird watching right at the house! The stairs to the dock were steep but we felt properly warned by the listing and didn’t have any issues. There is also limited cell service. Brady was a responsive and understanding host, and I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone who wants a rustic retreat into nature.

Absolutely enjoy staying at Joey's place! Great fishing opportunities off the dock, love the sunrises and sunsets on the water.

This was a great home for our group of 6. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of bathrooms with linens, comfortable beds, and the tankless water heater that gave us all hot showers! We will definitely book again!

Steve was super quick to respond to any questions and even helped us out to add an extra day to our stay on short notice! The place was plenty large to have a small group and was quite comfortable. The back yard view from the living was also very pleasant! Definitely would stay again and recommend to others!

This is a lovely place! It is immaculately clean, has huge bedrooms, is well maintained & has easy access to the main highways. It has all the amenities you need, plus has those items you may have forgotten in the bathroom (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.). I would definitely stay here again.

The whole house is beautiful. And the loft space? Utterly perfect. Good strong shower. Comfortable couches and beds. We truly appreciate how secure and comfortable we were.

We booked our reservation last minute as a family member passed away the day before. We checked in less than 20 hours after booking and Gene was amazingly quick to reply when we reached out with questions! If I didn’t see his message/reply in the AirBnb app, he sent me a text message. From that moment on, I knew he was going to be a great host…and a very caring one at that! We will definitely stay with Gene again!

This was our second stay at this home while we were in town for a horse show. The neighborhood is quiet, and the home is conveniently located. We'll definitely stay again in the future if the opportunity arises.

Our visit was far too brief! The residence is truly stunning. The level of creativity displayed in this home is unparalleled, and I eagerly anticipate returning to book this luxurious beach house located in the heart of Shreveport. Everything is immaculate, well-organized, and tidy! We have no complaints whatsoever, except for our desire to have stayed longer. We will certainly return this summer! A perfect rating of 10,000,000 stars!

There were wild dogs, cars driving with explosions, and the surrounding area seemed a little unsafe.The condition of the house was beautiful and nice, but it was a little inconvenient, such as the lack of a dining table, but overall it was good.

What a lovely place to stay. My family enjoyed the house as there was plenty of room for the four of us. Just a beautiful place. I found it a little amusing that there were quite a few lazy cats hanging around sleeping on the house porch and on the porches of the neighbors on both sides. Don't know who they belonged to, but they didn't bother you or try to enter the house. The beds were comfortable, we slept good. The kitchen had everything we needed. Best of all, the house was within 4 minutes of the people we were there to visit. I would definitely book this place again.

Lovely neighborhood!! In fact, my friend said it reminded him of the movie The Truman Show. Very pretty and quiet!! Caroline provided clear instructions for check in and check out. If I had one small complaint, the water pressure in the master bath was somewhat lacking. Other than that, everything was truly perfect!! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Shawn’s place was exactly as described. We were in town for a tennis tournament so did not spend much time there. The area was exceptionally quiet and we rested comfortably and peacefully. We were surprised at the spaciousness for a one bedroom, one bath. Everything had a new feel including the appliances and all worked perfectly including the WiFi. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Trish is kind and very fast to respond. She even informed me of a limb issue from the storms that was fixed while I was out to eat. The beds are comfortable as are the couches. The laundry is new and nice. The dining room table is elegant with a separate kitchen full of very nice amenities. It was also nice and cool which is important in Louisiana. The bathroom is roomy with a nice antique and modern feel. I like reviews bc they help me decide where to stay on my many adventures with my adult kids and by myself. This is one place you can feel safe and comfortable with a hint of luxury and old South. I highly recommend Trish and her beautiful home!

We had three couples in town for a pool tournament, great location, very peaceful and safe with great neighbors, perfect for what we need.

This home was perfect for my family over Easter weekend! It was very peaceful and had plenty of room for everyone! Sarah was a wonderful hostess and was very responsive! I would highly recommend her home!

HAD SUCH A GREAT STAY IN SHREVEPORT AT THIS HOUSE. Perfect for a long weekend. Best location, close to everything. We were able to cook breakfast and snacks. Everything was perfect!
