A quaint cottage near the beach, Beach House #1 gives you the best of both forest and beach-living. It is located just a short walk from the beach, perfect for spotting marine wildlife or catching a kayak tour. Picture windows in the sunroom capture the midnight summer sun and the dramatic forest views. The cottage features a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a private carpeted loft with a queen-sized mattress. A double futon in the living room brings the total sleeping areas to 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, and the house also features a full bath. Guests can enjoy use of the picnic area, with a barbecue grill and fire pit. A crib and baby gate are also available if required.

Great views, great location at the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. Including two floors, a floating staircase, plus downstairs a luxurious bathroom and a kitchen for creating stay-at-home meals. Newly built modern design with a manual garage door for an open-air living room feel. Construction finished in July, 2021.

Blackhorse Cabin

Quant little cabin nestled high enough in the mountain to view Mt Alice from the front porch and still close enough to the town of Seward. There is a queen bed and a futon. The love seat reclines also. There is a fire pit you are free to use and some bikes hang from the deck of the main house feel free to use those. The house is located up the mountain but the road can be heard from the cabin. The queen bed and twin futon are located in the same room. One guest complained the area was to small.

The main room features a spacious king-sized bed covered with a patterned blanket, accompanied by a cozy couch. Two bedside lamps provide soft lighting, while dark curtains frame the windows. Artwork depicting local wildlife adds a thoughtful touch to the décor.

The Kodiak Cabin - Newly remodeled!

First of all... We are a retired military couple with one of the longest running nightly rentals in this area! We try very hard to make sure you have a great stay, and we feel our 4.9+ Star rating shows that! Now for the Kodiak Cabin!... This studio style cabin is perfect for a couple! There is a fully furnished kitchen, a bath with a Huge shower and dual flush toilet, King bed in the bedroom area, a great new couch, TV, wifi, and a closet in the living room area. Just bring your clothes!

It is walking distance from a fish weir, great place to see spawning salmon, and Bear Lake. It’s ideal for 2, however there is room for 4, as long as two people don't mind climbing a ladder to get to the upstairs. Enjoy soft beds, hot shower, and a cup of coffee to get you going in the morning.

Grouse Lake Campground is open June 1st until September 13th. The campground is closed from September 13th until May 31st. WALK-IN, TENT-ONLY (No Bed) Campsite #5 is big enough for 2 - 3 tents, depending on the size of your tents. There is a fire-ring for contained camp fire, however no table available at this time. All campsites have a front view of the lake, stone throw away from the campsite. Bring your tents, sleeping bags, tarps, and fishing poles. Happy camping!
