The Canal Room sits within Ratho Park Steading: a stunning Scottish courtyard stable (built 1826; converted 2021). It borders Ratho Park Golf club (area of outstanding beauty), a walk from the heart of Ratho village, 8miles from Edinburgh centre. The large room is stylishly furnished (super king size bed), tv/wifi, and heated through ground source. The property has off-road parking with use of/ views into a landscaped garden/canal. Breakfast is a cold self-served buffet in the wonderful 'Den'.

Beautiful walks, private stay, self check-in

The Mill, formerly the sawmill for Borthwick Hall, is a charming property built in the 1800s. The conversion of the building was completed in 2003 and is now a wonderful family home. My husband, Steve, and I moved up to Scotland from London in December 2017 and absolutely love it up here. With lovely people and beautiful open spaces, it’s the perfect place for us to relax and raise our kids. We love having friends and family visit and look forward to offering our space to guests as well.

The room is lovely, bright & spacious with either twin or super king size bed guest accommodation. It has been newly refurbished and enjoys a bijou en-suite shower room. Easy access to the city centre either on foot or bus. There are 2 regular & frequent bus services - you'll love it! Wonderful views of Arthur's Seat & Blackford Hill Royal Observatory.

Lymphoy Lodge hideaway at foot of the Pentlands

My home is a former lodge house to an estate. It is located in a rural setting with lovely walks just outside the front door and easy access to the Pentland Hills. It is beautiful and tranquil and yet it is only 35 minutes by bus to the centre of Edinburgh (bus stop 3 minutes walk along a pavement). There are shops, a cafe and pubs nearby. Please note that the shower/loo are on the small side and it is a simple and homely room and setting. Breakfast is not provided.
