This place is great, especially for the price. While it's just a 1 bedroom apartment, it feels much bigger than the photos show, especially the bedroom. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom doesn't share a wall with neighbors, just the carports, it's quiet. It's within reasonable walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The shower has the strongest water pressure of any shower I've ever been in. It's amazing. I'll definitely stay here again if it's available.

We stayed at Lauren’s place with my parents and had a wonderful experience. The home was cozy, spotless, and very comfortable. The location was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our time there!

Lovely home, great location, great host. One thing to be aware of is that the home is actually a duplex, with people staying up above you. If you are noise sensitive, the sound of people walking, moving chairs, staying up could bother you. We were fine because we normally use earplugs at night, but just something to be aware of.

This house was perfect! It was really cozy and had everything we could have wanted. It was pretty apparent they put a lot of thought into making the house inviting, plus it had an amazing view of Mt. Shasta!

At Janet’s place, you don’t just stay—you truly feel like you belong. There’s a deep sense of connection, of being part of something bigger. Black Butte stands in its perfect triangular shape outside the kitchen window, and Mt. Shasta sits in full view from the living room, like a quiet guardian blessing the space. Light flows through the house, bringing warmth and a peaceful presence. With open views of Mt. Shasta, it feels like nature is gently holding and guiding you. You can witness sunrises, sunsets, moonrises, and moonsets—all from one spot. That alone is such a gift. The location is ideal—calm and quiet, yet close to town and everything you need. Janet’s local tips were helpful and added to the experience. She communicates with kindness and clarity. The space is clean, peaceful, and energetically aligned. You can feel it’s held with care and intention. The presence of St. Germain’s energy is subtle but strong. Highly recommend—and we’d love to come back.

Steve and Kathryn were both very kind and responsive. Their instructions for everything were laid out in clear detail, from how to set up the TV to getting everything set up for checkout. Would highly recommend, particularly if you’re interested in visiting the Mt Shasta area as a lot of the sites we visited were within an hour drive.

Nice place. Spacious kitchen. Two queen size beds and one single bed. Richard was kind enough to let us use a travel crib for our baby. AC/heater in individual bed rooms were also nice. There were plenty of blankets as well. Walkable to the supermarket and an Indian restaurant (both highly recommended). Felt very safe.

We spent a weekend at Laurie’s place in Mt. Shasta to kick off our honeymoon with some skiing, and it was perfect. The location was phenomenal—right in the center of town. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and pubs, and the mountain is just a short drive away and there's also plenty of great hiking nearby. Laurie had everything we could possibly need—plenty of soap, towels, dishes, and more—which, sadly, isn’t always a given in Airbnb rentals these days. She’s clearly thought through all the details, even including games and local guidebooks/history books, which were a fun touch. It was the perfect size for us as a couple, and we really appreciated staying in a private, standalone home in Shasta. It would also be a great space for a small family. Highly recommend staying here!

We just had a quick overnight stay but it was perfect for us. The bed was super comfy, which is important to me. The shades get the room dark enough to sleep in! The thermostat works great. It was really a lovely little space in a perfect location close to everything. I’d highly recommend this place. My husband and I were there with our daughter, who slept on a very nice bed from the pullout sofa. We didn’t use the kitchen or shower but they looked nice.
