Schweitzer Basin vacation rentals

This is the perfect place in Sandpoint if you prefer some peace and quiet to being right downtown (which is nonetheless an easy 30ish-minute walk on a dedicated path). The house itself is lovely, well-furnished, with vaulted ceilings in the kitchen/living area and packed with thoughtful little extras everywhere. The beds are super comfortable, and there's a cute, small porch out back with a fire table and view of the creek. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location, can walk to town and best of all, to the beach. Can enjoy the beach and waves from room and deck. Condo was stocked pretty good. Would rent again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sydney’s lakefront condo! It is a great location to walk into downtown for restaurants, bars and shopping. Convenient to the Long Bridge walk as well. Well appointed for cooking in as well and the BBQ area was very much appreciated.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Condo del Sol. This unit was clean, very well stocked and provided lots of extras like a pack and play, sound machines, kayaks, tennis rackets and extra towels. We used the pool daily, it was never too busy even on a long holiday weekend. Location is walkable to the city beach, restaurants and shopping. Will definitely look for this unit when we return next summer.

We spent a week at this lovely one bedroom condo facing the lake. Check in was very simple and easy. Instructions before our arrival were helpful and useful. The bedroom has a comfy king size mattress and space for items in the closet The kitchen had the necessary items to help with making meals, basic items (i.e. salt, pepper, olive oil) as well ice trays to make ice in were also available. The living room has a nice sofa and recliner. We spent our week here watching the geese on the lawn in front of the Condo, as well as a squirrel that was quite friendly, visiting daily on the deck. The lake is not as lakefront as it would be during the summer due to the dam nearby, but it was within view and we loved the peacefulness of this time of year (April). Jordan was quick with responses when contacted and we appreciated her being available if needed, but otherwise she left us to ourselves. The trains nearby were an added bonus for us as we love watching and listening to them.

Communicated well, clear directions, building number was missing so took a minute to figure it out, but no problem. We had a car crash and family sickness that occurred with our first date, host was flexible and understanding and let us reschedule to a later date and avoid high fees, super helpful. Would go back.

WOW!! Perfect place for two. Beautiful views of slopes. Pretty much brand new. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Overlooks center of resort. Short walk to lifts.

If I could give this place 10 Stars I would. Jake and Kim ended up getting us in last minute because our other Airbnb had some issues. Things were looking pretty bleak but they came through and saved our vacation. While I didn't get a chance to really do any exploring since we were doing some skiing and ended up getting in while it was dark. What I did see of the river was awesome. I'll definitely be coming back with our extended family in the summertime to take advantage of the area. The place is quiet clean and comfortable. and the hot tub was a lifesaver after a hard day of skiing. Really hard to get out of 😅

Would easily stay here again. This was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend ski trip to Schweitzer. Ann was so friendly and kind, and extremely easy to communicate with. This home is lovely and has so much space and entertainment. We had a great time staying here!

By far the best equipped Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! All the kitchen tools we could possibly need, lots of extra towels, very nice shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/sugar scrub. The home was plenty spacious enough for our group of 10. The hot tub was well utilized and we loved snowshoeing around the property. We had lots of fun on the tire zip line too! Having a washer and dryer was great. The beds and pillows were comfortable and there was a huge collection of movies. We loved the big, comfy couch as well. The home was easy to find and really perfect for our Girl Scout troop’s weekend get away. Several of the girls said they’d like to make it an annual thing. I agree! No complaints, 5 stars all the way.

Dawn was a great host and she made us feel right at home in their newly built guest apartment. Host communication and description was excellent. Very friendly and stopped by to say Hi. Super quite and peaceful location just minutes out of town and near Schweitzer parking lot and shuttle service. Comfy beds and great living area. Thanks Dawn!

We have a large family and every year we get together between Christmas and new years. This was the perfect house. It’s in a neighborhood but plenty of privacy. There are so many cool features about the house that make it such a unique experience. It’s equipped with everything you could need. It’s clean and well cared for. You can tell the owners built the house with tons of thought and care…it feels like home from the minute you open the door.

Excellent home. Great location, much bigger than it appeared in the photos, very comfortable. Worked great for our group of seven skiers. Highly recommend!
