Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sautee Nacoochee

I’m tempted to write a bad review so more dates will be available when I’m ready to come back. This was our 2nd visit and it was great again. So much to do without leaving the house. Fishing, kayaking, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, board games, etc. Great price too! The only problem this time was that the WiFi was a bit spotty, even after a couple resets. Probably for the best though! Looking forward to our next visit soon hopefully.

The home was very clean and comfortable and anything we needed was provided. It is quite spacious yet sitting in the living room at night with the gas fireplace turned on was so cozy. Sitting on the back porch was peaceful and serene - total bliss. Gloria is a wonderful host and I would recommend staying here and hope to again.

Comfy beds and clean space with beautiful property

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We loved it so much, this was our 2nd stay. Group of 13 friends just hanging out for the weekend. Things that stand out include the absolutely pristine bathrooms and the fully stocked kitchen. All the pans, utensils, cutting boards, baking pans, etc. you need. Lots of places I've been to don't have things like measuring cups but they have everything. When we had questions, response was fast. Nice common area for everyone to hang out in. Just a great place.

Our stay was terrific...the home is very very nice, plenty of room and great outdoor space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We walked to town for coffee and really enjoyed our time. While there was one issue, the owner was able to step in and fix it within 2 hours - which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to spend time int he Highlands area.

Josh was a very friendly, responsive host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location of the property was beautiful and close to downtown Helen while still feeling like you’re out in nature. Also the place is huge so had more than enough room for everyone on our trip!

We took a father and son trip down to drive our cars in the wonderful roads of the region. We wanted a nice place to relax when we weren’t out and Rob’s place was very cozy and a great place to disconnect and rest. This is a great place for families and in a great location to experience the surrounding area.

I have never stayed at a more well stocked rental. If you forgot anything, no worries, she probably has it in the house! Joan left some very thoughtful, personal touches like having the heated blanket turned on for me when I arrived, a bowl of treats, etc. My favorite part is a tie between the gorgeous claw foot soaking tub which I used every night, and the beautiful view of the mountains from a large picture window. The location was really beautiful, and had a grocery store and multiple gas stations within a few miles of the house. The only thing that kept it from being perfect, was the spotty wifi, which is understandable in the mountains, but all the lighting was hooked to Google, so Google either didn't understand, or the wifi kept failing for the commands. It just seemed it took 5x as long to turn on a lamp, than simply turning the switch. I ended up unhooking the one in the bedroom during my stay. I would highly recommend this rental, and Joan is an amazing host.

We had everything we needed for a three day stay while moving our daughter out of her sorority at Brenau! It was fine with Nishat that I used the washer/dryer for some throw rugs and towels of our daughter's which needed laundering before taking to our storage unit, and she even offered to let us double up using her washer, which wasn't necessary, but very thoughtful. She also was willing to have the unit ready early when I messaged her I wasn't feeling well, also ultimately not needed, but again, very thoughtful. Well stocked! We enjoyed the living room with many screened windows overlooking a beautiful and private back yard (you can turn off the air exchange to open the windows for fresh air without running the heat or ac), and we enjoyed the covered porch for morning coffee and pizza for dinner. The landscaping and neighborhood is upscale and gorgeous, but the unit is a bit dated. If you are a larger, plus size or very tall person, the bathroom and shower would be quite snug.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for a peaceful lakeside retreat. Having direct access to the lake was a highlight, and the host was friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations. Highly recommend!

Very unique place with more fresh eggs than you can eat and take home. Steve meets you when you arrive which nice to meet the host who is full of information and recommendations. We felt very much at home there. The location is central to the most beautiful water falls and hiking trails in North Georgia. I think we could live there. Can't wait to go back.

Great location and convenient to area restaurants, events, etc. This was our second visit and we look forward to staying here the next time we're in town. The space is clean, quiet and fun to explore.

Mike and Karen were gracious hosts! Their Airbnb was cute and had a beautiful front lawn. Would recommend to anyone needing a place in the area!

This place was the calm and relaxing we needed! It was gorgeous, cozy and comfortable! There was tons to do locally and lots of outdoor activities. The best part was the hot tub after a day of hiking! 10/10 Will be back on our next trip. Host Scott was responsive and attentive.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in a peaceful location close to downtown Franklin, look no further! Up a quaint, winding road, nestled in the trees is a wonderful two bedroom ground level apartment waiting just for you. Once you arrive you will be warmly greeted by your hosts Dave, Barb & Beans who are always available but never intrusive. Their view is wonderful! The property exactly as described. You Can’t ask for more! And I can’t wait to go back!

My family had a wonderful stay at Catherine’s cabin. The location is great, in the middle of lots to do - hiking, ropes course, zip lining, restaurants, Georgia Mountain Coaster, and an awesome Pokemon card store. The pictures do not do the views justice. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot with everything you need and more.

We enjoyed our stay and were impressed with the cleanliness and private stay. We were able to escape for a few days and relax!

Roger is an exceptional host, he went above and beyond to assist us when there was an issue with our online booking. Cabin was very clean and had great views. Definitely plan on visiting again!!

We booked a last minute stay for spring break. It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, peaceful, relaxing, with a little fun for all of us. We loved the creek running right outside the cabin next to the fire pit, made for an extra fun night next to the campfire! The cabin was exactly as described, spacious, clean, and had everything you needed for your stay. We would venture out to hiking trails during the day, then head back in to relax by the fire for the night. Cynthia had tons of suggestions and there was a binder on the table with local places, things to do etc. which made it very helpful.

Awesome place to stay, downtown Helen is a very short drive away, fishing and hikes even closer. Plenty of space, nice and clean. Perfect place for a nature lover with it the fire pit being right next to the creek. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Asheli and Cam’s place. The location is absolutely stunning and peaceful, we didn’t want to leave. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family. Our favorite spot was the fire pit on the river. We did have an issue with the gas fireplace not working, but they tried their best to resolve the situation during our stay. The listing does need to be updated with regard to the grills. We had hoped to use the gas grill pictured in the listing, but only the charcoal grill was available for use. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cabin was very cozy and peaceful. The sound of the water while sitting on the front porch was so relaxing. Lots of walking trails. Only 3 miles from town so it’s secluded yet close to stores.
