Spacious living room with high ceiling, tea room with hearth, garden facing rim...You can spend a relaxing healing time in a Japanese space that you can hardly experience in modern life. We also provide a table set in the garden and you can enjoy a barbecue. Please come to our place with your family and friends with a sense of privacy. Our accommodation is located on the western outskirts of Fukui City. You can use one Japanese-style flat house of Okumino surrounded by trees, one building. It fits to be the family up to 4~5 people,feel easy and spend. 4~12year-old child will be the price by a child fare. An owner roasts coffee beans at a next roast atelier. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.
