I would 100% totally recommend Frances place , also so helpful supported me after I was so exhausted after my ultra in the woods close by. The food left was so lovely and healthy I did not need to go to shop, felt very at home here not something I feel in lots of places I have stayed . Would defo use again when doing something not as hard explore other outdoor places . Also the place was warm and I even noticed warm tiles in bathroom new to me. Frances is an amazing helpful host again no hesitation whatsoever In recommendation. Thank you Frances. Tracy.

We had an absolutely lovely stay, what a beautiful spot! Elinor is a fantastic host and we felt right at home in the spacious cabin. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others!

The layout of the Shepard's hut facing a field with sheep and goats just beautiful, everything you needed in the hut, including fire wood for the first night, it was the small touches that made the trip so easy and enjoyable, family room with a few games/books, we found the maze not great but the museums and the nature walk are fantastic, the woodland play area my daughter loved, finding the fairy doors, it was the interactive things that really made it, feed the animals which we really enjoyed farm is small but the animals are loved!! We would definitely stay again more for the location and the staff are just the most nicest and helpful people in the world especially the staff in the cafe, they were a delight to chat to. Playground on site and the little playhouses are just amazing with a look out tower for the kids. This was the perfect bonding getaway for myself and my daughter and amazing value for money. The huts aren't cold in the slightest. So much for the kids to do.
