Honeymoon cottage

CathyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Martin was a very helpful and responsive host. We arrived in the evening to find the house opened with lights on and the stove lit, it was very welcoming on a cold night. The house is in a scenic location and is very peaceful and private. All the beds were comfortable with good storage in each room. The bathroom is bright and modern with plenty of hot running water. Extra towels were available for our use. The kitchen dining living space is extremely spacious with a double height ceiling. It’s a very attractive space and ideal for a young family. The kitchen was well kitted out with all the essentials for cooking and an abundance of tableware. There are plentiful ledges for food preparation, with a large table as well as an island. A separate utility was another useful feature. Martin was a flexible host which we greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend honeymoon cottage.

We had a lovely stay, the location is perfect for nice walks, scenery and a beautiful private stream at the back of the house. Such a peaceful place. Denis and Joyce were perfect hosts they made us feel so welcome and gave us really good tips on local places to visit. A short walk to Feakle village which has a few pubs and a restaurant called Peppers at the end of the village. Such a friendly and welcoming place to visit, perfect for a nice get away and some down time.

We stayed here as a group of 23 girls for a hen. The house was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for such a big group. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. A brilliant location so close to Kilkenny. Mary was so lovely and helpful throughout the entire process and couldn’t have done any more for us!

Charming Country Homestead

RoseanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Had such a lovely stay in Marie’s place. In beautiful surroundings, peaceful yet within very easy distance of the lovely village of Graiguenamanagh and Kilkenny town, with lots of places to explore nearby. The cottage itself had every comfort. We arrived to a lovely cosy lit stove and Marie was such a welcoming host, gave lots of recommendations and even checked in advance to see if a local restaurant was opened for us to eat there. We really appreciated it. Beds super comfortable and cosy, had the best sleep! Really looking forward to coming back to explore more of the area and to stay here again. Thank you for a lovely warm Kilkenny welcome! Best regards, the Richard Family, Limerick.

Renovated Original Irish Cottage

StephenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a little trouble locating the property but Patrick's wife, Michelle, came to find us so that we could follow her there. She was very kind and welcoming and even escorted us in to town and recommended some restaurants to us. It is a beautiful place to stay, clean and well equipped, with stunning views of the Irish countryside and excellent hosts. Would highly recommend.
