Lake houses in Prior Lake

We were very happy with the accommodations! The smores kit, sparklers, sunscreen, bug spray, fire wood, extra propane and so much were so helpful! It was a beautiful place and we could have sat outside all day and night long!

Steven's place on the Lake is a hidden gem in a suburb of Minneapolis. The yards in the neighborhood are all 1 acres and on a dead end street which provided extra privacy. Even tough he lives upstairs I never really heard him. We really enjoyed all of the water foul! There are 2 beautiful swans,geese,ducks and sea gulls The patio has a table and a rocking bench. There is a dock that can be accessed by walking down stairs. Steven has literally though of everything you might need for your stay from spices to toiletries to charging ports. Communication was perfect. The shower has great water pressure and the kitchen area doubles as the laundry room. I felt like I was back in the 50s as far as how the decor goes. Keep your eyes open for lots of cool things! The only down side is a musty smell that is most noticeable upon entering.

Stayed for a weekend. Very beautiful and clean place. A little bit far from city but very private and peaceful. Has everything you need and feels like home. Would definitely book again but this time maybe in the summer to experience the deck/lake!

April's house was very spacious and comfortable. It was accommodating for our family size of 16. Lots of games and activities were available for the kids. The kids enjoyed themselves. The Christmas tree was a plus for us to place our gifts under. Response time to emails was almost immediate which allowed things to go even more smoothly. I would definitely book this house again and it is highly recommended for large groups!

Had a nice time. Wish we had more time to explore. We were there for work reasons so left before 6am and came home after 9pm. Seemed like a nice place to stay and chill. The shops were only a few mins down the road which was nice.

Great spot on the lake. Informative and responsive host - would love to come back during warmer weather, too!

The lake view was BEAUTIFUL & WONDERFUL & VERY RELAXING. SO many opportunities within the house itself: large size kitchen, plenty of spaces to sit & eat, play room for if you have kids, a pool room & a hot tub!! A wonderful place for the 4 of us freshman college roommates to connect once again, as we all turned 75 this year!! We have connected 5 times in the past 15 years to reminisce. This provided far more space than we needed, but it was wonderful for each of us to have our own bedroom. Thanks again! We recommend this place to anyone!

This was our second stay and just like last time, it was perfect for our family. Beds for our kids downstairs, a room for us upstairs and a gorgeous view of the lake frozen over. Lovely to sit by the fire and enjoy!

Very cute little getaway! Nice and clean and cozy. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were SO comfy. Awesome view looking over the lake at all the birds: eagles, swans, geese, woods ducks, cardinals, blue jays,etc. Thank you so much for a wonderful, relaxing stay in the Spring!

We loved this cottage and being close to the peaceful lake. It was so well made and great design. Every space was comfortable and well thought out. Comfy beds. Beautiful views of the lake out all the windows and lovely sunsets. We grabbed meats from the butcher in town and grilled and also ate in town one evening. This one's a winner!

Chris’ place was just as described. Beautiful views, clean, and sharp kitchen knives were a lovely bonus! Like some others have said I would prefer blinds or curtains in the front living room for a bit of added privacy.

Kyle and Tara were wonderful hosts! They were very accommodating, attentive and welcoming!! We were able to host thanksgiving for my family with ease and had everything we needed to prepare the meal. The lake house is a very cozy and welcoming home that is very well cared for! Thank you so much to our hosts!

Beautiful view, very clean and comfortable house, quick communication! It was a perfect place to spend quality time with our granddaughter. Highly recommended!

This place was a lovely retreat from regular life. The house was comfortable and pleasantly decorated, and the setting was beautiful. Sitting on the dock watching the sun rise over the lake with a cup of coffee got my days off to a great start. There were several excellent options for private work space, and a TV in every bedroom (with a bonus TV in the main living space). The kitchen was comfortable, and the recreational equipment was all in good working order. It was chilly while we were there in early October, but we were able to use the provided kayaks and enjoyed ourselves on a sunny afternoon. 10 of 10, would recommend and stay again!

Enjoyed the cozy cottage during our stay! Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the cottage was as pictured!

My family and I enjoyed our stay tremendously ! There lots of pots and pans to use to cook meals saved us money for not have to eat out every meal. The space is very spacious. We really felt at home. I’m hopefully going to use the home again in the future. Thank you

I was looking for a peaceful place to rest and renew and it was perfect. Extremely clean and had everything we needed.

I really enjoyed my stay at Jessie’s place. It was cute and cozy and in a really great location!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! We liked the cabin-feel on the main floor, especially the fireplace and the beach-theme in the basement. We prepared a couple meals and appreciated a well stocked kitchen. The patio was also nice for eating dinner outside in a quiet neighborhood.

Shawn was the most gracious host and his home was very comfortable. Although I didn’t stay long, it was just perfect.

The location was perfect and very close to downtown excelsior and surrounding areas. The home was inviting, comfortable and updated. It felt cozy and had amenities to meet all our needs. We loved the private backyard and wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the outdoor fire pit. I highly recommend Jim and Lisa’s home and hope to be back next time we visit the area.
