Vacation rentals with a kayak in Portland

It was a home away from home! My family had a great time at Eric's place. Most everything we needed were there and those additional items requested were supplied immediately. Safe and quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants and local sights. Since this is an actual home they live in during fall and winter, all kitchen, laundry, bedroom and bath necessities are there. The backyard was amazing! We really enjoyed our time there! We even had breakfast in the gazebo. We would love to come back next time! Thank you for sharing your home, Eric.

This stay was exactly what we needed: quiet, cozy, comfortable, with room for our teen to have some privacy, but also want to hang with us to snack and chat. I wish we had time to partake of the various hikes around the lake, but dis succeed in enjoying the easy access to coffee, a local market, and downtown Camas. Can't wait to visit again in the summer!

Sherry’s home was one of the coolest, coziest, homiest, best set up Airbnb homes I’ve ever rented. It was as if the best mom/grandmother in the world set up a family home that had magic and comfort around every corner. Nestled in a fairytale setting in the woods above a pond teaming with trout, the house itself was gorgeous and huge, full of decor and collections and beautiful art. From feeding the fish and watching them jump above the surface, to picking ripe plums in the early morning from the trees, sitting out amongst the stunning flower gardens while barbecuing, playing pool and basketball hoop shoot games upstairs, playing guitar in the living room, and watching a movie together curled up in cozy chairs; it was the perfect place for my family to gather. My son was married at Camp Colton this weekend and we rented a few airbnbs for us and out of town relatives to stay. But this wasn’t just a place to stay, it was an joyful experience. (Also super comfortable beds!)

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at the House on Slip Z from December 25 to 29. The accommodations were excellent—spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The experience was both interactive and relaxing, with plenty of activities to enjoy. We had a blast kayaking, paddle boating, and fishing, all while taking in the serene natural surroundings. The views were stunning, and the local wildlife added a special charm to our stay. We loved spotting curious animals like ducks, herons, river otters, tree frogs, and various fish. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a mix of adventure and tranquility. We had so much fun and are already looking forward to returning!! Great place, great stay!

From the moment we arrived at Kelsey and Sanoe’s place, we felt at ease. As a same-sex couple and people of color, it’s so important for us to feel safe and comfortable being ourselves—especially in places where that isn’t always guaranteed. Their space gave us that and more. We happened to run into Kelsey and their sweet dog Brixton, and their warmth and kindness made us feel even more at home. We added the charcuterie board, which was absolutely delicious and lasted us the whole stay. We loved relaxing in the hammocks and hanging out in the watchtower. One evening, we grabbed pizza from their guidebook, brought it up to the tower, and watched the sunset—it was one of our favorite moments from the trip. We really wish we could’ve stayed longer. Kelsey and Sanoe are honestly the coolest hosts we’ve ever had on Airbnb, and we’d love to stay again the next time we’re in the area.

Great stay for our short trip to Portland. The location is great in a quiet beautiful neighborhood, an easy walk to the park and restaurants. Minimal noise from the hosts upstairs, very considerate!
