Places to stay in Port Matilda

We had a great stay at Brenden’s, the place was very well maintained, and provided plenty of room for four of us (2 adults, 2 kids under 7). House is very cozy and well equipped, even though there are some neighbors around the area, you still get plenty of privacy and nice surroundings. Kids loved the fire pit, didn’t get a chance to use the grill this time but it was in good shape. Great communication from the hosts, look forward to staying again on trips up North.

We enjoyed this charming home in this historic community. The house was a lovely place to spend a holiday weekend with our children who are students at Penn State. The house had all the comforts of home and great parking.

our stay was very nice. far more enjoyable than our previous hotel stays when visiting the area to see family. the chickens and beam the turkey were lovely additions to our mornings, despite beam getting his tail feathers all ruffled, but he was just a silly guy. The fresh eggs were a lovely surprise, and made for such a tasty breakfast! Their cat Ollie was also a lovely surprise our first and last nights, he was so friendly and sweet. Would definitely consider them again for future visits to the area

The cabin in Saxton was a great home away from home for our family to meet for Thanksgiving this year. The place was comfortable and warm with all of the wood and coordinating decor, and the small touches by the hostess (recommendations, toiletries, etc.) showed her attention to detail and ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. When we had to reach out to Kacie for something, she was quick to respond (even on Thanksgiving day) and willing to help if needed.

I recently visited my daughters at PSU and had a wonderful stay! The home was super clean and welcoming. There were plenty of fun games to play, and the projector setup made movie nights extra special. The snacks were a great touch and really appreciated. Overall, it was a cozy and fun experience—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Judi was very very kind and the perfect host. Her home was ansolutrly perfect and i tell you, if i never had to leave, i wouldnt. This qas BY FAR the cleanest airbnb i had stayed in. Its so welcoming and homey. I stayed there for the night before my wedding night and wedding night and i was comfortable. It truly id a home. And judi was so very accomodating and very quick to respond to any messages. I will absolutely suggest any family or friends travelling from out of town visiting to stay at nanas place! Thank you so much for everything, Judi!

The house was exactly as described. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and just hanging out on the porch. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfy. We are hoping to visit again.

Home was great location for PSU events. Lots of space to spread out. Fully stocked kitchen, everything you could need. We stayed for a holiday weekend so we spent more time in the house then we usually do at an Airbnb. Only complaint was a lack of storage space for food. And the brown sofa was not comfortable at all.

I spent a 4 day weekend to get away from busy New York with my family and it was exactly what I hoped for and more! Tiffany was such an amazing host. Very responsive and friendly. The cottage was way bigger than I expected in the inside. Very spacious and the view!! The view was absolutely stunning from the hill top!!
