The hot tub was delightful and perfectly situated to maximize the amazing views seen from all over the house. We even enjoyed the deck chairs on a sunny winter day. Inside, the separately controlled thermostats did not go unnoticed by me (hot mama.)😉. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, especially things like crockpot, oil, sugar, flour and ziplock bags. My daughter in law the awesome cook, especially loved the spices. A 2 cup liquid measuring cup and a water pitcher would make kitchen perfect in my opinion. The recent remodeling was lovely. The bedrooms are large enough to get around with suitcases, etc. The laundry room, hallway and pantry provided plenty of space to spread out and organize Christmas gifts, etc. Extra space is a rare commodity in most rentals. The beds were all very comfy. The remodeled bathrooms sparkled and we loved the higher vanities. An extra towel bar/ring by the sinks and a robe hook would be useful and I'm certain on the "to do " list since remodeling

I can’t say enough about this place. It is literally heaven on earth. Not only is the host extremely nice and easy to get in touch with, her space is AMAZING. Everything was clean, organized, she had everything you could need. One night we planned on going downtown Sandpoint and we opted to stay at the cabin to enjoy it because it was so cozy and enjoyable. We will be back! This place is an absolute must!!!!!

The place was so nice and clean. The neighborhood was very quiet, safe and clean. It was a nice place for families … The beds are very comfortable and the house is very modern and the decor is so cute. The televisions are wonderful and the sauna is amazing. The house is very spacious . The only changes I would make are some type of patio chairs on the front porch , to set in the evenings and the couch was not very comfortable.. The hosts were very friendly, attentive and responsive. I would not hesitate to stay at any location they own . I know it would be well maintained ..

Great place to stay! The home is beautiful inside, and surrounded by beautiful open space. The master bedroom was comfortable. The master shower is very luxurious with its multiple jets. Lots of closet space if you need that. The kitchen is very well furnished - good knives, multiple cutting boards, mixing bowls, measuring cups, utinsels, lots of plates/bowls/glasses/mugs, and serving dishes. It's great to have your crew sitting at the kitchen island while prepping a meal. The fireplace adds a warm ambience and warmth. The floors are polished concrete with heating coils so bring your thick socks or slippers to soften up the walking. The bunk room has 2 bunk beds = 4 beds. The game room has a pull-out bed that was judged to be "very comfortable". The 2nd bathroom has a double sink area and then a separated toilet & shower room, so it can handle all the people. There are two cool cats that live in the garage. They will greet you and want pets if you're into that.

The house was immaculately cleaned. Wiliam and his wife met us at the drive with parkibg instructions and a full tour of house and grounds and reccomendations for dining. Our stay was peaceful and uneventful.

2nd time staying there. great hosts. location is perfect for skiing Mt. Schweitzer. You'll hear the trains go by a few times during day and maybe once at night but they're really not a bother. the King mattresses in each room are nice and firm and provide fur great sleep. radiant floor heading is nice. Well appointed kitchen.

Great stay near Sandpoint. Close the lake. Able to take a short walk and take a plunge into the lake. The cottage was very clean with everything needed for a stay. Tje temp outside was HOT! But the cottage was delightful. The guide book with the beach descriptions and restaurants to try out were helpful. I would add the Laughing dog brewery. Was very yummy. The best beers and nachos I’ve ever had. And that is saying a lot from a Canadian.
