Gerrit’s place was perfect for our family gathering. It was near the lake and extremely family friendly. He was great was communication and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

We had a WONDERFUL time staying here. The only thing missing from the description was the BEAUTIFUL VIEW of the river from the balcony. Great house and great host.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse! The layout was perfect for us, with the game room on the other side of the house offering a fun space to unwind. The large kitchen island and well-equipped butler's pantry made Christmas cookie baking a breeze! We loved starting our mornings by watching the sunrise and relaxing in the hot tub right out front. Evenings were made extra special with quick s'mores around the fire pit. The Christmas tree added a festive touch, making our holiday stay feel extra cozy. The peaceful and scenic surroundings were the icing on the cake. We couldn’t have asked for a more serene and beautiful location. We hope to return and celebrate more holidays here in the future. Awesome place to stay. This was our second time staying. The diner in town that is 3 miles away was great.

I absolutely loved how clean it was, how responsive Michelle was. It was quiet and peaceful. Very close to the water, within walking distance. Felt like home and comfortable.

This was really an amazing place. It was very peaceful and quiet. We were able to get the whole family together for a very memorable few days. We went for walks on the many trails once or twice a day. We prepared meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and ate on the large deck, which provided great views of the valley and lake. At the end of our visit, I asked my four-year old granddaughter if she was ready to go home, and she said, "No, i want to stay here for 10 more years!" Everyone had that sentiment. I don't think we can swing 10 years of rental, but we will be back soon.

Really beautiful views and a very nice house. Walker valley boat landing is within walking distance of the house (half mile or so). That was very convenient!
