The farmhouse was exactly what we needed for a quick "meet in the middle" get-together with our kids that are now living in Ottawa and Toronto. Denise was an excellent host and the farmhouse has absolutely everything, really. It is the most well equipped Airbnb that we have stayed at. Denise was very accommodating as we had left the birthday cake behind and had to return well after our checkout to retrieve it. It was just too bad we only had the one night!

Anna was so helpful and friendly and provided so many great recommendations for our stay. The property is magnificent and was furnished with everything we needed to enjoy and fun and relaxing stay. Great location. We would definitely book again!

I can't thank Tracey enough when it came to booking her beautiful home. I made this booking last minute for family travelling last minute from the UK. Tracey answered all of my questions promptly and was more than accommodating. The family absolutely loved the house and some are planning to try and book in the future.

We came as a group for a raptors game and Sarah’s place was the perfect accommodation! There was adequate space and it was one of the most comfortable spots. Overall, u a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Sylvia's place ! The accommodation was very comfortable, very spacious, well decorated and very clean. The place is very quiet and peaceful and you are surrounded by trees and meadows. We were able to reach all our destinations in Peterborough within 15 minutes. The house had all the amenities that we needed. We would stay there any time again.

Trevor’s place was exceptional. It was cozy, had ambience, a stocked kitchen, and beautifully decorated. It was central to going around to local wineries and breweries or driving to Wellington, sandbanks or picton. Trevor was a great host, communication was fast and easy, he was always easy to reach and responsive and able to answer our questions. We will be back!

Overall a very good place. It was located near our destinations during a weekend east of Toronto.

We came up for a concert for the night and it was a great experience. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful perk and very well maintained and nice. The house is beautiful and spacious. Miles was extremely accommodating, we needed to get there a little early to help with making the concert on time and it was no problem at all. He worked with us and when there was an issue with the internet. he came and fixed it in person. The location is killer too! I strongly recommend staying here, it was a wonderful experience in every way!

Brendan's place is absolutely stunning - beautiful property with adorable farm animals, access to water, a pool, everything you'd need for a great weekend, really. Thank you for providing a perfect location for our after-wedding celebration.

Our stay at Craig and Susan’s place was amazing! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you’d need. The kitchen was stocked, just bring your food and you’re set! The pool was warm and very enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and peaceful. Craig and Susan were very welcoming. They were amazing, kind and helpful hosts! The delicious welcome cookies and snacks were a beautiful touch. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay and once again, we had a lovely stay. It has everything you need and is very clean. Looks exactly like the photos. Would definitely recommend and will likely stay again.

absolutely picture perfect cottage right on the lake. lots of bedrooms and living room space. couldn't ask for a better view from the hot tub. Heather was provided all the details to ensure check-in was smooth. Everything was organized and labeled so we didn't feel intimidated by the size of the place and was able to feel at home from the 1st day. we didn't bring our kids this time but would love to come back with little ones as there are gates to the deck/hot tub area + everything kids would need already in the house.

I had an amazing stay at "Peace" of Eden! The property is incredibly beautiful, spacious, and peaceful—perfect for unwinding. Deborah and Ross are fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. When I mentioned the microwave wasn’t working, they replaced it the very next day! The place was spotless, and the serene atmosphere made me feel like I could sleep all day. I highly recommend this little slice of paradise!

Cricket’s house is spotless clean everywhere, there is a lot of kitchenware, easy to cook. The house is big and spacious, 4 nice bedrooms are very comfortable to fit 4 adults, it is rare to find four full sized bedrooms accommodation when you are in travelling. The back yard is beautiful and huge like football yard! It is joyful to take my pet wander around the field. It is very easy to communicate with the host, and she always provide very detail info ! The location is amazing, a short walk down the trail to the public beach was a great bonus. The lake is perfect for swimming! The place felt very homey, and the nostalgia of watching a movie on VHS is so much fun. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Christine’s place was absolutely beautiful and literally perfect for a cottage long weekend. the pictures don’t even do it justice. the dock out looked such a beautiful lake, great for water activities!! the beds worked out perfectly for 5 people, thought u could definitely fit 7, maybe 8. the kitchen was equipped with quite enough, and the bathroom had sanitary products which was so convenient. there’s also a soft tub which was super warm and so relaxing, and an entire bar room with darts overlooking the water! we had so so so much fun here and it was seriously such a beautiful cottage, don’t let the lack of reviews fool you!! absolutely loved this so much:)

The house was exactly as pictured on the site - neat, tidy, and clean. We came as a family of 4 which includes my 2 kiddos ages 7 and 10. They loved that they each got their own rooms, the hammock in the back, and the comfortable patio area. Thank-you for hosting us!

Great place! Clean, and most of all very family friendly. I was there for a somber occasion but having a place where my kids could unwind and enjoy the trip at the end of the day was an absolute game changer. The communication was prompt and courteous, the decor was super cute and blended modern whimsy with the historical architecture. The only downside I could find is that this house is not very friendly to those with knee or bladder issues: the single bathroom is downstairs and the 3 bedrooms are upstairs so if you have either of those issues just be sure to plan to stay downstairs on the comfiest couch I have ever sat on; with linens readily available to convert it into a double size bed. 10/10 would stay here again if the occasion to be in the area arises.

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more).
