Vacation rentals in Peaks of Otter

Such a great cabin for some much needed TLC. We were hoping to hike the Peaks of Otter, but the weather had other plans. We arrived kind of late, but Andy met us at the farm entrance & led the way up the hill to the cabin. He showed us around & have us lots of helpful information. We spent the rainy day driving around the mountains & checking out historic Bedford. We stopped off at Beale’s Brewery for some local beer & food. Great spot! Then for dinner had Bella’s Italian, which was phenomenal! The garlic knots were addicting! We spent the evening relaxing on the back porch enjoying the peaceful views. Sunday the weather was much better so we hiked to the top of the property for the spectacular views. We cooked breakfast in the kitchen each morning, we had everything we needed. The bed was very cozy & the gas fireplaces were so nice & warm! Couldn’t ask for a better cabin getaway! We’ll definitely come back to take another shot at hiking the peaks!

Pieter and Jenna's place was ideal for us after a day of hiking. Peaceful, quiet and close to the AT. Price was very reasonable in comparison to others and it was not a hotel. We just needed an overnight quiet place to sleep, make dinner and breakfast and back on the trail and then back home. Our goal was not to hang out, but it might have been nice to use or bring a Solo Stove Fire Pit. Their place was VERY clean, looked new, easy check in and check out. Not a big fridge or microwave but worked just fine for our needs. There is no door between the bathroom/laundry room and the bedroom, just small swinging saloon doors. Which is fine, as long as you understand that you don't have the kind of privacy you may be used to at home. All-in-all, it was a nice place to stay and would come back again.

We only stayed for one night, but everything was spotless and very thoughtfully prepared. The host left plenty of clear written reminders, which made it easy to settle in and find what we needed. We also really appreciated the extra touches like snacks and bottled water—it made a big difference after a long day of travel. Thank you for your hospitality!

We were lucky to book this fabulous, huge space. The entire space was charming and comfortable. We loved the cozy chairs in front of the fireplace. Philip was a great host, very quick to respond and helpful. 100/10 highly recommend.

A rare occasion when photos and description don’t quite do justice to this incredible home. When we drove up to the house and saw the spectacular view, we were amazed. When we stepped into the house, we wanted to move in and never leave. That’s how beautiful this place is. We hiked all 2+miles of the on-property trails, sat in the sun on the dock, enjoyed cocktails on the huge deck and slept like babies in the gorgeous master bedroom. Kitchen is big and super modern and the living room is spacious and beyond comfortable. Location is remote, quiet and peaceful… just what we were hoping for. Owner Jeff was always reachable and helpful with the few questions we had. Simply a 5 star+++airbnb.

Absolutely lovely cabin! The best place to be to disconnect and unwind. The small details were the best part. The bed in the loft was so comfy and the entire cabin was so welcoming. We didn’t want to leave!

I cannot say enough. I stayed with my 18 month old son. We had a blast feeding and petting the animals. The room was comfortable with a great view of the cow. I would absolutely stay again
