Sarah responded quickly & hosts a beautiful cabin on corner lot with Tonto National forest & trail head across the street. Peaceful back yard facing the forest while rocking on porch, relaxing in jacuzzi, drinking coffee or glass of wine, fire pit with s'mores provided or listening to the wind blow through the trees & elk walking all around! Pet friendly & safe. Great time & highly recommend

We had an amazing stay at this adorable cabin! It was super clean, well-stocked with everything we needed to cook, and the hot tub was such a relaxing bonus. The host was incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again!

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped with everything! When we went up it was snowing which was a bonus. Deer would come out on the mornings and was so beautiful. They are pet friendly and that's another bonus! Lovely place and would stay again

The carefree cabin was awesome to stay in! I agree with all the comments that if you are going to walk around barefooted, you will be cold because of the floors, so wear socks or something but the many heaters that were available warmed the cabin up pretty well. The hot tub was perfect and private which was neat. Heber offers some pretty good local eats; the red onion and ponderosa café was delicious! There’s also a circle K right down the street that’s 24 hours, which is nice to have available. It is an awesome place to stay in!

This is such a fantastic property! It is spotless and well appointed, communication was simple, and there were many small touches that really made the stay feel special. Loved the attention to detail! The large deck is just as special as house. We used the property as a base for a hiking weekend in the area. Also loved watching the elk move through the property each day, whether from the deck or the huge inside window.

This place was great! Perfect for 2 but definitely could accommodate a small family. We loved all the activities including games inside and out. The hot tub worked well and having the towels ready for guests out there was perfect! We stargazed in one of the many seating areas. The kitchen had everything you needed and home a homestead feeling with all the mason jars and wood. The openness of the kitchen was perfect and the couch was so comfy for relaxing. There was plenty of bedding, towels, and extra toiletries. Having Q-tips was a nice added bonus. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We are considering a return trip with our kids and fur babies. The only consideration I'd recommend is if you have infant or young toddlers there are a few steps, and there is a lot that is accessible within 2 feet of the ground. Lastly, read the book! Great recommendations which I really appreciate.

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I. The location is beautiful and the surrounding area is quiet. We arrived during the day so the signage was easy to follow, however Flora sent us written instructions just in case we arrived at night and couldn’t see the signs. The hot tub worked great and was clean. Overall we will definitely visit again and highly recommend!!

Amazing stay beautiful views and hot tub was amazing

This was a great location for an impromptu overnight stay. It was nice to come to this cabin after a day of hiking in Payson without making the drive back home. Luckily the instructions were very clear on how to find the property. Cabin 5 matched the description and is very small and quaint which fit the needs for myself, two kids and two dogs. I would say it would be hard to stay multiple days in this smaller cabin, but it worked great for one night. Upon checking in and getting set up, I could not find an instruction sheet to operate the heating elements. Flora was very prompt and came to show me how to operate the heating elements. Unfortunately the space heater that should have been in the room was not in there and a piece for the wall heater was broken. She quickly brought us a space heater and it was more than enough to ensure a comfortable evening. The grounds were very nice and had the perfect setup for a family gathering. Very happy to have found this location.

We stayed one night at The Lazy Bear Cabin and absolutely loved it. The place is quaint and cozy— exactly what we needed for a quick and relaxing getaway. The bed was super comfortable, and the cabin had everything we needed. It's clear the hosts put thought into the little touches. We'd definitely come back for a longer stay next time!

Catherine’s place was wonderful. Clean cozy and quiet. She responded within 5 minutes when we had a question. We look forward to staying there again. We didnt go out to eat but plenty of places to eat out. Catherine is a great hostess.

We enjoyed everything about this place. We looked outside at one point and were watching deer in the yard. We are looking forward to going again!

A few of my siblings and I wanted to get away for a couple of days and came upon this cabin. It was beautiful, the cabin was just as advertised. Clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed. We didn't have to go into town for anything. Caroline was super helpful and even made sure the fire nearby that was going on before our stay wasn't going to affect us. We definitely want to come back and make this cabin an annual siblings trip spot.

Me and my fiancé only stayed one night at this cabin, it had all the essentials and was a great place to crash, would visit again so I can enjoy it more!

We had a great time here. Being able to walk the forest with our dog and kids was amazing. The vintage kitchen was fun, and the beds were comfy. It was exactly what we needed for a fun getaway!
